Disney imagineers we interviewed said that it will be a reimagined restaurant, and there’s no word yet on if it will be coming to Disney World too.
According to Disney, Food and Beverage Imagineers have been spending plenty of time in New Orleans researching. We don’t have very many details yet, but we are VERY excited!
We are live at the D23 expo and will be reporting breaking NEWS all weekend long. We have already had a first look at Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, a giant Te Fiti coming to Moana Journey of Water in EPCOT, and a close up look at the Walt the Dreamer statue coming to EPCOT as well. We can’t wait to see what else D23 has in store!

Poor Gail says
Hey Disney, Disneyland already has lots of cajun food. How about bringing some to the Magic Kingdom!
Rick TR says
I believe Disneyland has a restaurant just like that called Blue Bayou. Good luck trying to run two of the same kind of restaurants.
Mike says
All they’re going to do is add Tiana to the Blue Bayou Restaurant
Dan says
Agreed, would absolutely love to try Tiana’s famous gumbo, or jambalaya, or etouffee!
Cynthia says
I’m hearing rumors that they’re retheming Hungry Bear Restaurant, since it’s right across from the current Splash Mountain. If so, I’m sad, as I was a cast member there for 3 years in the late ’80s.
Audrey Sorenson says
In the movie, it is called “Tiana’s Place” was this a typo or are they changing the name?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Audrey! In all the artwork we have seen it says “Palace” so I’m thinking they’re changing the name to that.
