We’re LIVE at D23 Expo in Anaheim and getting all of the Disney news!
We’ve already learned so much — we got a look at the Splash Mountain makeover, found out about a new Princess and the Frog restaurant and store, and saw Walt Disney’s original plane! And now, we just found out about some SUPER COOL things coming to Avengers Campus in Disneyland!
Avengers Campus is EXPANDING at Disney California Adventure park! During the Disney Legends panel at D23 Expo, Disney CEO Bob Chapek made the announcement, and said they’re going to go deeper into the multiverse. The MULITVERSE, y’all!!
He also said that the heart of this new area will be a NEW attraction where guests can battle alongside superheroes and villains from everywhere. Yep, it sounds like there will be a ton of different characters in this attraction!
Now, we don’t know if this is the same ride that was initially announced waaaay back when we first found out about Avengers Campus or if it’s something totally new, but there was supposed to be a second E-Ticket attraction where guests will board a Quinjet and travel to Wakanda to join a team of Marvel superheroes in battle!
NOTE: We learned a bit more about this multiverse attraction and who is will feature.

We are Annual Pass-Holders for Disneyland and have been for several years even though we live in another state. We were just there last week and it was our 4th trip this year with another one planned for November/December. We will see how things are going in Disney World when we are there in October/November. In regards to comments about Avenger Campus the ride was extremely disappointing. We are not the only ones. It said that “Stand-By” was 40 minutes. We were off the ride in 25 minutes. If you need to fill in with a ride in California Adventure this ride generally has some of the shortest lines which speak volumes to its lack of popularity. They got rid of a lot of rides that children of all ages could ride (Bug’s Life/Cars Land) and as other websites have stated Disney once again went cheap in developing another ride and then they wanted you to pay more for Genie+ if you want to avoid the lines. What lines? Save your money. The other thing we noticed is the rudeness and it host/employees and the unkempt conditions of the properties. Each time we have gone this year it has gotten worse. Where are the smiles, the friendliness, Walt Disney himself would be embarrassed. It is definitely not the park it used to be. With their marketing strategy of charging you more for less their profits definitely show it, especially for the 3rd quarter of this year. Also, due to the conflict Disney has created this year it will be our last time we go to Disney World, sad to say!
