In an ironic turn of events, we have some pretty scary news about Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party in Disney World.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is a popular, after-hours, hard-ticketed event at Magic Kingdom in Disney World. There’s a special fireworks show, the fan-favorite Boo-to-You parade (featuring the iconic Headless Horseman), a variety of exclusive treats, and more. If you were hoping to attend the party this year, unfortunately, we have some pretty heartbreaking news.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is officially SOLD OUT for 2022. Party dates have been selling out slowly for a while now, and now the last spot has officially been booked.
If you don’t already have your ticket for this party, you will be unable to attend this year. You can check with Cast Members on the day of your visit to see if any last-minute tickets might be sold at the door, but it is not guaranteed that these tickets will be available. We’ve seen tickets sold at the door for previous years’ parties, but remember that this is not always the case.
So if you’re visiting Disney World for Halloween, are you just out of luck entirely? Not exactly! There’s still quite a bit that you can do in the parks to celebrate the spooky season.
For example, you can try some Halloween-themed treats that are available all day long — not just at the after-hours party. There’s the Sweet Candy Corn Soft-Serve Swirl Cone, the Binx Pastry Tail, the Oh My Gourd Cupcake, and so many more options.

You can check out the Halloween decor around Magic Kingdom (like the beloved Mickey pumpkins!) and shop for themed merchandise at several locations in Disney World. (Note that there are also a lot of Halloween souvenirs available online if you’re celebrating from home.)
We’ll continue to watch for more updates about what’s going on in Disney World for Halloween, so stay tuned to DFB for all the details!

Hello, If anyone has or knows a way to obtain (3) tickets to 2022 Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party Oct. 18-21. Please let me know!!!
DFB Gigi says
Hi Denise! If you’re going to be in the parks anyway those days, it wouldn’t hurt to ask if any more tickets have been released to purchase. Last year they released some extra tickets after events were sold out.

Hi, If anyone knows how to get 5 tickets for Mickey’s not so scary halloween party 27th-31st October please let me know. Thanks
DFB Gigi says
Hi Emma-Louise! If you’re going to be at the parks anyway on those days, it never hurts to ask if they released any tickets for sale. Last year a few more tickets were sold on nights that had been listed as sold-out so if all else fails, maybe there will be some released last minute.

I am looking for 4 tickets for any dates Oct 28-Oct 31… if anyone knows anyone who can get tx. I heard sometimes Disney releases tickets day of the event. Who does one ask if that might be happening? I am staying on property, is there a # or person that I can call? I am an AP holder and DVC Member.

Hi Megan. They released a few extra tickets on sold out nights last year, but it’s not guaranteed that they will do the same this year. Your best bet will be to call guest services to speak with a Cast Member. Last year a friend of mine just went to the ticket window at Magic Kingdom and inquired there.
