The Haunted Mansion
It doesn’t matter which Disney Park you go to — Disney World OR Disneyland — those three words probably bring back some iconic memories of the Haunted Mansion. But those Haunted Mansions are not the same. Only one of those has the iconic Hatbox Ghost figure, but look alive…because that’s ALL about to change!
Now there’s a whole story about the history of the Hatbox Ghost we won’t get into, but basically this figure was something in the ORIGINAL Haunted Mansion that never quite worked right (remind you of a certain Yeti?). However, Imagineers figured it out, got it working properly, and it was added to the Disneyland version of Haunted Mansion in 2015.

However, Disney World did not get the iconic figure. But NOW, Hatbox Ghost is set to offer his own brand of ghoulish delight to guests in Disney World in 2023!

Honestly, this was one of our biggest complaints about the Disney World version of the ride (the other is that we don’t get Haunted Mansion Holiday, but we’ll save that for another day).

My YouTube name is Hatbox Ghost. Obviously, I think it’s great that they are finally placing him inside the Disney World attraction. People in the various streams constantly mention to me they see me at Disneyland, why aren’t you there at Disney World. There’s always been some mystique about Hatbox Ghost at Disney World. When the attraction was new, for a very short time, Hatbox Ghost was inside the Haunted Mansion at WDW & then he disappeared abruptly. Hatbox Ghost continue over the years to be popular at WDW & he wasn’t even present, so this new addition is going to be very popular.
I think it’s great haunted mansion is my ultimate favorite in wow I love riding multiple times make him one of the hosts at the end too if you can that sit with u
