EPCOT‘s 40th Anniversary is quickly approaching!
So far we’ve seen a sneak peek at the new merchandise coming soon but not much else has been revealed. The park is in the midst of a huge transformation, so we’ve been keeping up with all the EPCOT news and sharing it with you the moment we hear about it. It’s just been announced that select D23 members have an exclusive way they can celebrate the big day in the parks on October 1st!
D23 Gold Members can enter EPCOT for the special celebration starting at 7:30AM for priority park check-in. Then enjoy the park how they wish before meeting fellow EPCOT lovers for a D23 Member Mixer and continental breakfast at World ShowPlace from 9:30-10:45AM. Then, explore EPCOT how you wish, and enjoy priority entrance to Living with the Land all day!
The event includes complimentary park admission, a park pass reservation, and parking, as well as a $25 Disney Gift Card, exclusive event credentials, and exclusive entry to World ShowPlace for D23 Member Mixer.
D23 Members will be required to provide their membership number and the names of the guests attending when reserving tickets, and guests under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. Tickets go on sale Wednesday, September 21st at 1PM EST, so be ready to grab your tickets before they sell out!
While you’re in the park celebrating, Annual Passholders can get an exclusive drink, anyone can grab some incredible tacos to celebrate Hispanic and Latin American Heritage Month, and you can see all the construction process in the park for yourself. Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest EPCOT Anniversary news!

You neglected to say that the event is $99 per ticket. From the D23 website, “D23 Gold Member tickets are $99 (plus $7 processing fee). Tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, September 21, 2022, at 1 p.m. EST through the link provided.”

So, it’s a one day event? And once again no one really cares about the annual pass holders

I’m done. There is no way I am renewing my D23 membership. Time and again they hold events without even notifying us members. This article is the first I heard of this event, even after scouring the web over the past several weeks. They went on sale at 1, and of course it was sold out (like all D23 events) by the time I read your article at 7.
Even now, there is no reference to the event on the D23 app. Not even that it is sold out. And heaven knows where the link was. I roll with a lot of the punches being an annual passholder, but the limited benefits I get from being a D23 member just aren’t worth it.

30th anniversary – a weekend-long event featuring Imagineers, presentations, entertainment…
35th anniversary – a single day-long event featuring multiple speakers, entertainment, and a catered lunch in a souvenir insulated bag.
40th anniversary – a lanyard, a continental breakfast, and a fast pass – er. Lightning Lane – to a slow boat ride through a greenhouse.
Usually, I jump at D23 events in Florida. Not this time. Maybe not ever again.

We got got tickets to the event. It sold out in less than 1 minute though.
I was very surprised that it included park admission, parking and a $25 gift card.
So essentially the ticket costs $81. For a full day in the park, breakfast, parking, and ticket. Finally my D23 membership is actually worth something.

I never received an email about this as a D23 member either. That’s disappointing
