Disney World is currently in the middle of celebrating its 50th anniversary, which has brought new shows, merchandise, snacks, and more to the theme parks. But do you know about the OTHER anniversary coming to Disney World?

EPCOT’s 40th anniversary will be on October 1st, 2022! Disney has been pretty quiet about what plans it has in the works for this event, but we do know that there will be lots of new souvenirs coming to the park. How do we know that? Disney just released a teaser about the new merch!
Disney released a video on TikTok that shows how they create promotional pictures for new merchandise. Towards the end of the video, you can see new EPCOT 40th anniversary souvenirs!

…as well as some special Minnie ears! The Spirit Jersey says “EPCOT 40” across the back in rainbow letters, and the “0” looks like Spaceship Earth.

We can’t wait to see what the full collection looks like when it debuts in Disney World later this year. Disney has also announced that the new collection will be available online at shopDisney. Want to learn more about EPCOT’s 40th anniversary? Although not many details have been released yet, we do know that there will be a special 40th anniversary event for some Disney fans.
