Christmas is officially less than 100 days away and over in Disney World, Cast Members are busy preparing for all that entails. Disney just announced all the Holiday Kitchen Food Booths that are coming to the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays — and now we know what entertainment we can expect at this year’s festival too!
The 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays kicks off on November 25th, 2022, and will bring all sorts of festive eats, drinks, experiences, and entertainment to Disney World! We already learned which Holiday Kitchen Food Booths we’ll get to sample, and which storytellers we’ll get to hear during the Candlelight Processional, too. Let’s take a look at all the entertainment coming to the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays this year!
An activity that involves eating a bunch of cookies to win a prize? Sign us up! If you’re looking for a holiday-themed scavenger hunt — look no further than Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt! This is one of Disney’s newer additions to their EPCOT Festival of the Holidays, featuring a search for Olaf statues hidden throughout EPCOT’s World Showcase. If you find all the Olaf statues around EPCOT, you’ll get a free prize!
Just purchase an Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition Scavenger Hunt map for $9.99 at Creations Shop, Port of Entry and World Traveler at International Gateway, look for your frosty friend and mark where you found him on your map with the supplied stickers, and turn your map in for a prize.

Guests heading to the festival will also experience the joy of Christmas and Kwanzaa with the uplifting Gospel, R&B and holiday songs of the JOYFUL! ensemble in the World Showcase Plaza! You can catch JOYFUL! daily at 2:40 PM, 3:45 PM, 4:50 PM and 6:10 PM.
And finally, the Festival of the Holidays Storytellers are returning this year! You can catch various narrators throughout the World Showcase sharing holiday traditions and stories from around the globe. Check out the full list of performers below!
- Las Posadas Celebration – Mexico Pavilion: ¡Feliz Navidad! Join the fun and pageantry of Las Posadas with dancers, piñatas and the music of Mariachi Cobre.
- A Mischievous Magical Barn Santa – Norway Pavilion: Celebrate the season with laughter as a mischievous Barn Santa visits Sigrid, an unsuspecting Christmas storyteller.
- Chinese Lion Dancer – China Pavilion: Catch a glimpse of this colorful performance that brings good fortune and happiness in the Lunar New Year.
- La Befana – Italy Pavilion: Come hear the tale of La Befana, the kind-hearted witch who visits sleeping young children on the Eve of the Epiphany.
- Santa Claus – The Odyssey Pavilion: Get ready for Christmas with Santa Claus now through December 24. Whether you know him as St. Nick, Père Noël or Father Christmas, a visit with jolly Santa Claus brings good cheer to the season.
- Daruma Storyteller – Japan Pavilion: Hear the fascinating story of the Daruma doll and the Japanese customs of the New Year!
- Hanukkah Storyteller – Between Morocco and France Pavilions: Guests will discover an entertaining celebration of Hanukkah along World Showcase promenade, where a storyteller recounts traveling abroad to explore the diverse music and traditions of Hanukkah around the world.
- Père Noël – France Pavilion: Visit with Père Noël and rediscover the magic of Christmas through the letter of a delightful child.
- Father Christmas – United Kingdom Pavilion: Join Father Christmas as he rings in the season, sharing the traditions of the United Kingdom and good cheer.
- Canadian Holiday Voyageurs – Canada Pavilion: Explore holiday customs from the various regions of Canada on a musical tour of the Great White North with the Canadian Holiday Voyageurs.

Is there a release date??? We are going 12/27-12/4. I would love to pre order this but the festival does not start until 12/25.
