This week Disney World, SeaWorld, and Universal Orlando had to close their theme parks due to Hurricane Ian.
We have been tracking the hurricane to make sure that you have the most up-to-date information on the storm and how it might impact your trip to Disney World. Today, Disney World shared a phased reopening and SeaWorld shared that they would remain closed until Saturday, October 1. Now, we have an update from Universal Orlando.
Universal Orlando will begin a phased reopening starting Friday, September 30th. This will include portions of Universal and will only be open to hotel guests.
We will continue to keep you posted on the reopening of the theme parks in the Orlando area. And if you have any questions, please let us know. We will be inside Disney World tomorrow letting you know what things are like and how operations have been impacted. So make sure to follow us on social and to join our newsletter for the latest information.

Hi there! Currently in Florida and having to do mass rearranging due to universals recent announcement. I’ve scoured the internet but I’m still not sure; Disney haven’t announced a similar rule for entry to parks for hotel guests only? Thanks!

Hi Megan! Walt Disney World is going to be opening for all guests today, whether you are staying at a resort or not. The only catch is that resort guests will have a two hour early entry window. We have a list of all the times if you’d like to take a look at it! Click here!
