This week was not a normal one in Disney World.
Hurricane Ian made its way through the state of Florida, causing the Disney World parks to close on Wednesday and Thursday. The parks did a phased reopening on Friday, where we did see a decent amount of people. So, what are crowds like during the week of a hurricane in Disney World? Let’s take a look at the average wait times from this week to find out.
Magic Kingdom
Let’s head to Magic Kingdom! This week, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train had the longest average wait time with 53 minutes!
After that, we had Peter Pan’s Flight at 49 minutes, Jungle Cruise at 37 minutes, Haunted Mansion at 37 minutes, Splash Mountain at 31 minutes, Space Mountain at 30 minutes, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad at 27 minutes, Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh at 26 minutes, Pirates of the Caribbean at 25 minutes, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin at 24 minutes, and Astro Orbiter at 23 minutes.
Next, we had Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid at 16 minutes, Mickey’s PhilharMagic at 15 minutes, “it’s a small world” at 15 minutes, Magic Carpets of Aladdin at 13 minutes, Barnstormer featuring the Great Goofini at 11 minutes, Mad Tea Party at 11 minutes, Prince Charming Regal Carrousel at 10 minutes, Tomorrowland Speedway at 10 minutes, and Dumbo the Flying Elephant at 10 minutes.
And rides that had even lower wait times were Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover at 9 minutes, Liberty Square Riverboat at 4 minutes, and Carousel of Progress at 4 minutes. Rides with no waits were Country Bear Jamboree, Tom Sawyer Island, Hall of Presidents, Enchanted Tiki Room, and Swiss Family Robinson Treehouse.

EPCOT
Over in EPCOT, the ride with the longest average wait was Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure at 69 minutes.
Then, we had Frozen Ever After at 67 minutes, Test Track at 56 minutes, Soarin’ at 34 minutes, Mission: SPACE at 16 minutes, Spaceship Earth at 14 minutes, Living with the Land at 15 minutes, Journey into Imagination at 12 minutes, Turtle Talk with Crush at 12 minutes, Gran Fiesta Tour at 9 minutes, and The Seas with Nemo and Friends at 8 minutes.
Most of the theater shows in EPCOT had zero waits this past week! These included: Awesome Planet, Beauty and the Beast Sing-Along, Disney and Pixar Short Film Festival, Impressions de France, and Reflections of China!

Hollywood Studios
Moving on to Hollywood Studios, Rise of the Resistance had the highest average wait time this week at 105 minutes.
After that, we had Slinky Dog Dash at 81 minutes, Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at 59 minutes, Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster featuring Aerosmith at 54 minutes, Toy Story Mania at 54 minutes, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at 53 minutes, and Tower of Terror at 52 minutes.
And finally, we had Alien Swirling Saucers at 33 minutes, Walt Disney Presents at 17 minutes, Star Tours – The Adventures Continue at 15 minutes, Lightning McQueen’s Racing Academy at 14 minutes, and Muppet*Vision 3D at 10 minutes.

Animal Kingdom
Hopping over to Animal Kingdom, the ride with the longest average wait time this week was Avatar Flight of Passage at 76 minutes.
Then, we had Na’vi River Journey at 57 minutes, Kilimanjaro Safaris at 41 minutes, Kali River Rapids at 28 minutes, Expedition Everest at 25 minutes, and DINOSAUR at 18 minutes.
Following behind was It’s Tough to Be a Bug at 11 minutes, Triceratop Spin at 9 minutes, The Boneyard at 0 minutes, and Gorilla Falls Exploration Trail at 0 minutes.
