EPCOT is currently undergoing a HUGE transformation.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind was one step in the process, but we’re keeping a close eye on the Journey of Water — Inspired by Moana construction and the progress on the PLAY! Pavilion. But there’s still so much unknown about what’s to come for this park, and we didn’t get many updates at the recent D23 Expo. However, it looks like an upcoming event next month will finally bring us more answers.
According to the Orlando Sentinel, EPCOT’s transformation will be the topic of this year’s Legends Panel at the IAAPA (International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions) Expo. The panel will take place on November 16th and will be led by Bob Rogers, founder and chairman of BRC Imagination Arts.
The whole event runs November 14th-18th, and we’ll be in attendance to bring you all the updates we hear in real time! We might get some opening dates for upcoming attractions, and maybe we’ll learn about NEW projects happening in this park as well.
In the meantime, you can catch up on all the Disney updates we heard at the D23 Expo and updates on all the construction going on at WDW. Stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney World news!
