We gotta admit, Disney villains have some of the best makeup game. Intense lips, fabulous eye looks — we could learn a thing or two from them!
Besame Cosmetics, a makeup brand that focuses on recreating vintage cosmetics, has nabbed makeup from the vanities of Ursula, Yzma, and more!
Besame is known for their unique designs and this line does not disappoint!
Yzma Nail Polish
Even if this nail polish isn’t your usual color, you might just buy it for the bottle! The Emperor’s New Groove fans will immediately recognize the poison bottle (The poison. The poison for Kuzco, the poison chosen specially to kill Kuzco, Kuzco’s poison), complete with a peeling llama label!
The polish shade is the perfect match from the color of the potion in the movie. This is a bright and vibrant magenta with shimmering pigments for a magical touch! If you’re in the mood to take over an entire empire (or just want to add a little pizzaz to your nails), pick up this polish!

The Queen Shadow Book
Every wicked queen needs her own book of spells. This devilishly divine eyeshadow palette not only has a stunning array of colors but is packaged in an exquisite replica of the Evil Queen’s book from the Disney movie that started it all, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs!
With this palette, you can use the neutral shades for something more subtle, or mix and match the darker shades for a spellbinding look! The interior of the palette has a large mirror making this an excellent choice for travel. With shade names like “Glittering Assembly” and “Your Excellency”, you can show them who really is The Fairest of Them All!

The Queen Lipstick
Who wore it first, The Evil Queen or Snow White? Both picked red for their signature lip color, and you can have it too! The lipsticks in this line feature silver packaging with their corresponding villain’s artwork. For The Evil Queen, the casing features the dripping poison apple!
This lipstick is a bold shade and not for the faint of heart. Not only is this a gorgeous deep red that flatters all skin tones, but the color is also an exact replica of the original ink used for the characters’ lips in the animated films for all of the lipsticks in this line! How cool!

The Queen Nail Polish
Whether you rock short square nails or long stilettos, everyone can use this vampy red nail polish in their collection. The Evil Queen’s is a bit deeper than her lipstick, so if you aren’t a fan of looking too matchy-matchy with your nail polish, go ahead and get both!
Besame was inspired to create this nail polish after seeing the glossy red poison apple after the Evil Queen dips it in her cauldron. This color is just as entrancing as it is in the film, and it’s further enhanced by shimmer and glitter particles!

Ursula Metal Compact
Ursula’s shell necklace which holds Ariel’s voice is one of the most iconic pieces of Disney jewelry. You can own your own (extremely upgraded!) version with this compact from Besame, which can be looped through a chain or ribbon to create your own necklace. This luxurious shell is gold-plated and inlaid with Swarovski crystals!
The powder inside is equally as stunning: a cream base with magical gold shimmers and glitter flakes that can be used anywhere you want to add a little sparkle. You can also swap out this shade for other Besame powders to customize to your liking. These shells are an extremely limited release, so if you like to collect rare Disney merchandise this is one you can’t miss!

Ursula Lipstick
Villains sure love their red lipstick, huh? You can recreate the moment in “Poor Unfortunate Souls” when Ursula is getting ready at her vanity and puts on this vibrant shade. Lackeys Flotsam and Jetsam appear on the packaging in Ursula’s iconic purple.
This is a true red with cool undertones and is a great color to wear during the winter months. If you have sensitive skin, don’t worry! Besame’s lipsticks are formulated to not cause any irritation, and reviewers love how great these feel on the lips without sacrificing any pigment.

Ursula Nail Polish
Recognize the bottle? Besame based this design off of Ursula’s potion bottles and one of the ingredients she used for Ariel’s spell. We love versatile products like this one! Ursula’s nail polish looks like a standard pearl shade at first, but on closer inspection there’s a lot more there than we bargained for, just like with her deals.
This polish also includes pink and purple holographic shimmer! You can wear this shade on its own and stick to a single coat for a sheer look or layer to build it up to full coverage. This also makes for a great topcoat if you want to add a little sea witch sparkle to any of your other polish colors. So many possibilities!

Maleficent’s Ring
The second and only other jewelry item in this line, this ring is a replica of the one worn by Maleficent in the original animated Sleeping Beauty movie. But just like Ursula’s pendant, this is more than just a simple piece of jewelry! Behind that deep, dark onyx stone lies a secret…
It’s a solid perfume! Just like women carried around in the 1920s and 1930s, this ring holds Besame’s “Black Rose” scent in a solid form that can be transferred by rubbing the perfume and dabbing where you would normally spray your fragrance. The scent notes state that it is a combination of woody and floral, and reviewers said they love the scent and the quality of this piece!

Maleficent Lipstick
Not everyone is a fan of red lips, and not all villains are made equal. Maleficent deviates from the pack in many ways including her lip color! Her lip shade is more of a mauve tone and works well with a variety of eye looks, making it a versatile shade to keep in your makeup collection.
The packaging for this lipstick of course had to feature Maleficent’s fire-breathing dragon transformation at the climax of the film. The lipstick itself is triple pigmented to ensure a satisfying color payoff (no more having to add layer after layer to get the color you want!) and has a satin finish which we think is perfect for this color!

Maleficent Nail Polish
We are really loving this unique nail polish! You would not be able to find a color quite like this in your local drugstore. Inspired by Maleficent’s raven familiar, this nail polish has a midnight black base with holographic particles suspended within. You can also see her dragon form in original artwork from the film in neon green on the bottle!
Despite being a dark nail polish, the holographic glitter adds dimension to it, and in the sunlight, it shimmers neon green! We think this would look great on almond-shaped nails with a nice glossy top coat, but you can mix it up and create any manicure your heart desires!

Besame is good but lately I’ve been kind of over their brand. After their Marilyn collection where the only way to get something that wasn’t just a repackage of an existing staple product was to spend over $300 for the full collection because they stopped selling individual products. Ever since their prices have shot to ridiculous levels and I’ve heard the quality has dropped. I almost bought the Yzma polish but not for $26 when I can get holographic polish for only $13.
