EPCOT’s 40th anniversary was on October 1st, but the celebrations aren’t over yet!
EPCOT just turned 40!
We saw a bunch of fun food in EPCOT, as well as a special show and more for the celebration. We’ve also seen a lot of new merchandise for the occasion, which created a HUGE line over the weekend of people trying to snag some exclusive items. But, some of the items weren’t available in time for the anniversary, and are just now being put on the shelves. And, one of these items you have to see to believe!
Check out this NEW Figment head purse! We’d already seen the purse in a sneak peek at the merch, but seeing it in person was a whole other experience!
It’s Figment’s head!
Yep, that’s right — it’s Figment’s head, but he’s also a purse. The inside of the bag also has a bunch of Figments on the print! It’s like Figment-ception.

Harvey’s made the imaginative accessory and it features a seatbelt crossbody strap that has the EPCOT Pavilion symbol print all over it.

More than giving us Figment merchandise, they need to put Journey Into Imagination back to its original state. It used to be a great attraction and now people hate it (at least those of us who remember the original.) Merchandise is fine but let’s get Figment the attraction he deserves.
