If you’ve dreamed of staying in the Disney World parks after closing time so that you could enjoy the nighttime ambiance and get on all your favorite rides without a wait, we’ve got some GREAT news for you.

Magic Kingdom at night

Disney World’s After Hours events are returning soon! Magic Kingdom and Disney’s Hollywood Studios will both be bringing back the After Hours events starting in January 2023. If you have reservations at a Disney World hotel for one of the event dates, you can book your ticket NOW.

After Hours events will return to Magic Kingdom starting on January 9th, and they will come to Disney’s Hollywood Studios starting on January 4th. These events are separately ticketed parties that allow guests to stay in the park for 3 hours after closing time. They usually have some treats and drinks included in the price of the ticket, and ride wait times tend to be very low during the parties.

Hollywood Studios

Starting today — October 4th, 2022 — anyone with a Disney hotel reservation during one of the After Hours events can book their tickets! (This includes guests of Disney Resort hotels, Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels, and Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort.) You’ll want to get your ticket for these events soon — they’ve been very popular in the past.

If you’re not staying at a Disney World hotel during your upcoming visit, you’ll be able to book your After Hours event ticket starting on October 7th.

To book your ticket, head to Disney World’s website and choose the date that you’d like to go. The parties start at 10PM at Magic Kingdom and 9:30PM at Hollywood Studios, but ticket holders can enter each park as early as 7PM. Tickets range in price from $129 to $159 per person. DVC members and Annual Passholders can access a special discount on certain After Hours event dates.

Haunted Mansion at night

At the Magic Kingdom events, over 20 attractions will stay open, including Haunted Mansion, Jungle Cruise, Pirates of the Caribbean, Space Mountain, and Seven Dwarfs Mine Train. At Hollywood Studios, the attractions that will remain open include Millennium Falcon: Smuggler’s Run, Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway, Toy Story Land rides, and more.
