We hope you’re not tired of Disney Halloween snacks yet!
We’ve been running around the parks trying all the new treats to share reviews with you all recently, and we’ve still got a few more to check out! Disney does a great job at accommodating all different types of diets, including plant-based ones. If you’ve been on the hunt for a plant-based Halloween snack, look no further!
The My (Plant-Based) Boo Cupcake and Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake are new treats that have made their way to Intermission Food Court at Disney’s All-Star Movies Resort. The My (Plant-Based) Boo Cupcake is a chocolate cupcake topped with a ghostly swirl of vanilla buttercream and sprinkles and is plant-based and gluten/wheat friendly.

This is a standard Disney cupcake, but we got a strange banana flavor that was nowhere on the treat’s description! While we think this treat may taste pretty great to plant-based eaters, but to non-plant-based eaters, it was obvious it’s a dietary-friendly cupcake. It’s drier than a normal cupcake, and we feel it was lacking in flavor a bit.
Overall, we think plant-based eaters or people who only like subtle chocolate flavors will really enjoy this treat, but other guests probably won’t be big fans. If this is right up your alley though, you can grab it for $5.29!
The resort’s other Halloween offering, the Mickey Pumpkin Cheesecake, is pumpkin cheesecake and spiced chocolate cake with buttercream and chocolate décor and is available for $5.79.
If you’re looking for fall flavors, this is it! The flavors were wonderful without being overwhelming and the cheesecake was wonderfully creamy. The hard chocolate shell gave it a really great crunch and was a nice addition that cut through the pumpkin spice, so neither flavor was too much. The chocolate cake at the bottom was also very moist and paired perfectly with the rest of the dessert!

If you love fall flavors or pumpkin, this is 100% a treat you should try! However, if you’re not a fan of pumpkin flavors, we suggest trying a different treat, like the Tamatoa Cake over at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort.
If you’re looking for what in Disney may be worth part of your budget this spooky season, we’re actually RECOMMENDING a PizzeRizzo treat, this treat is worth leaving the parks for, and Madame Leota is shining on a new cake. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney snack reviews!
