Disney World has brought a lot of things back over the past several months, and we’re about to see the return of even more!
Holiday parties have returned, character meet and greets have gone back to normal, restaurants have reopened, and more. We also recently found out that After Hours events will return at the beginning of next year! And you can get your tickets for these events right now.
After Hours events will return to Disney World in January of 2023. They’ll start on January 4th in Disney’s Hollywood Studios and on January 9th in Magic Kingdom. Up until now, tickets for these events were only available to Disney World hotel guests. Now, everyone can purchase them!
These After Hours events are separately ticketed events where you get to stay in the parks for 3 hours after they close. There are usually way less people in the park, which means there are also lower wait times for rides. A TON of rides stay open for these events as well!
And, if you have an After Hours ticket, you can get into the parks as early as 7PM, so you get even more time in the parks. The event times are from 10PM to 1AM at Magic Kingdom, and from 9:30PM to 12:30PM at Hollywood Studios.
Tickets range in price from $129 to $159 per person. But, DVC members and Annual Passholders will get a discount on certain days for After Hours events.

So it’s like a full price day ticket with some overlap on the day ticket time limit. Great way to double market to the public. A money maker for sure for Disney. They are not giving you anything except an admission ticket for a few less hours of time.
