Get ready — 🚨 dining is getting MORE expensive in Disney World. 🚨
Hundreds of price increases impacted Disney World restaurants back in early 2022, and again in October. From bottled water and soda price increases to increases on Mickey’s Premium Ice Cream Bars, there’s a lot to unpack in Disney’s latest reveals. But if you’re a big character dining fan, then there’s one particular update you need to know about at Chef Mickey’s.
Chef Mickey’s is a character dining spot located within Disney’s Contemporary Resort. This spot has seen a number of changes over the past years as characters slowly returned to the dining experience here, and the menu was changed from a buffet to a family-style meal.
But now some price INCREASES have hit Chef Mickey’s. Let’s take a look at what has changed.
Breakfast
First, let’s tackle breakfast. Breakfast at Chef Mickey’s was previously priced at $42 per adult and $27 per child. Now, you’ll have to pay a bit more.
Breakfast will now cost you $45 per adult ($3 increase), and $29 per child ($2 increase). Tax and gratuity are not included in these prices.
There have also been updates in prices when it comes to certain drinks here, so be on the lookout for that. For example, the Mickey Mouse Smoothie (Frozen Minute Maid® Mango Smoothie and Strawberry Smoothie topped with Whipped Cream and Cookies ‘n Cream Crumbles) has gone from $6.49 to $6.99.
Alcoholic drinks have also seen an increase. The Chef’s Bloody Mary has gone from $16.00 to $16.50, and the Blushing Mimosa increased from $14.00 to $14.50.
But breakfast isn’t the only meal that has seen some changes.
Dinner Pricing
Previously, dinner at Chef Mickey’s would set you back $55 per adult, and $36 per child. That has now been increased to $60 per adult ($5 increase) and $38 per child ($2 increase).
Just like with breakfast, some drink prices have changed here too. For example, the Bacardi Mojito was $14.00 but has increased in price to $14.50, and the Bahama Mama was $14.00 but has also increased to $14.50.
As with many of the other food price increases we’ve seen, the increases themselves might seem small when looked at alone. But over the course of a trip with multiple family members, they can really add up.
