The hard-working Cast Members in Disney World are really what make the parks feel so magical. They create fun moments for the guests, greet everyone on Main Street, U.S.A., and keep all the rides, restaurants, and gift shops running.
Starting soon, these Cast Members and other employees at The Walt Disney Company are going to get an extra perk.
Currently, Cast Members can choose between a Main Entrance Pass for the Disney World parks or access to the Disney+ Bundle (Disney+, Hulu with ads, and ESPN+). But starting in early 2023, that’s going to change.
Disney has announced that, next year, eligible employees and Cast Members will receive both a Main Entrance Pass to the parks and access to the Basic Disney+ Bundle (with ads). This information came from the Disney Cast Member Hub.
Disney hasn’t yet said when specifically this will start — just that it will be in early 2023.
If you’re in Disney World and have had a great experience interacting with some specific Cast Members, don’t forget that you can give them Cast Member Compliments through the My Disney Experience app. Complimenting them in this way will ensure that they’re recognized by their bosses for the great job that they’re doing.
We’ll continue to watch for more updates from Disney World, so stay tuned to DFB for all the latest news.

I’m glad to read that Bob is actually giving back a tiny, no-cost-to-him, little bit.
The Cast Compliments section of the app is so generic that managers can’t possibly get a feel for how great the complimented CMs are. Do you want to REALLY sing the praises of someone in particular? You have to send an email to:
[email protected]
Disney will respond that they received your message, and later that they sent your remarks to the CM’s manager.
Showing our appreciation to these wonderful people is tremendously important, especially in the midst of all of the grief coming our way from magic-destroying “leadership”. Think about who bears the wrath of customers (not so much guests any longer, are we?) over current happenings – OUR CAST NEMBERS! Without them, we might as well go to Six Flags Over Anywhere.
