If you are not prepared for some nightmare-inducing Disney images, get yourself mentally ready. Once you see these creations, you will NOT be able to unsee them.
There are a lot of Disney ears and headbands already available and many more are on the way. We’ve seen holiday ears, Coco ears, ears themed to Figment, and more. But what about some headband accessories that are a little more on the…unique…side? Well, now we’ve got those too!
Disney has released some unique headbands over the years including some themed to villains…
…and other characters, like Anger from Inside Out. Often, these headbands can be made out of rigid plastic and feature colorful character designs. They’re not always the most comfortable (especially in comparison to some of the softer, cushiony ears with a wider space for your head), but they can be great for those who love these specific characters.
Recently, we found some MORE of these plastic character ears, but these are…something else. 😆 We previously spotted them in Disneyland in mid-September 2022, but now they’ve made their way to Disney World and they’re truly a sight you’ve got to see to believe.
These ears are themed to James P Sullivan (Sulley)…
…and Mike Wazowski from Monsters, Inc.
At first glance, the Sulley headband might not look all that terrifying…
…but take a CLOSE look at those eyes — that’s where the nightmares begin. The eyes feel pretty realistic…almost TOO realistic?
And then it gets WORSE. If you push down on Sulley’s horns, his eyebrows move, creating a spooky, angry Sulley look. We don’t know about you, but these aren’t the kind of ears we’d just leave out on a dresser at night. Something about those eyes staring into your SOUL and waking up to see them at 2AM just feels a bit unsettling. 😦
And don’t you worry, we’ve got Sully too! Find these at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom! pic.twitter.com/HHZcPf6WsF

But the real nightmares begin when you stare deeeeeeeep into Mike’s one eye. Again, it’s a little TOO realistic. His eye even moves about (which you can see in the Twitter video above). And if you push on his horns, his eye will close.
All we’re saying is we wouldn’t want to find one of these staring back at us in the middle of the night. So maybe hide them in a drawer when you go to sleep. Or put them in a box, inside another box, inside two more boxes, inside that drawer. Just to be safe. 😉
Want to bring one home for yourself? You’ll find these headbands at the Emporium in Magic Kingdom. Both were marked as “brown” for pricing purposes, which a Cast Member indicated meant they were $30 each.

Okay wait, I read what you said about Sulley’s horns, but am I the only one that noticed in the video that though the person did NOT touch the horns, his eyes still moved to the other side 😳?!?
