Everyone, get ready! November 3rd is coming up fast, and you know what that means.
The popular Fantasmic! nighttime show is finally returning to Disney’s Hollywood Studios on that date! The show will bring back Sorcerer Mickey, Maleficent as an impressive dragon, and lots of other Disney characters (including some that will be new to this show!). In addition, Fantasmic! Dining Packages will be returning as well, later on in November. And we have some BIG news for anyone hoping to book one of those packages.
Reservations are open NOW for Fantasmic! Dining Packages! These packages will return starting on November 30th and be available for every Fantasmic! performance from that day forward. You can book yours now, and we recommend doing so ASAP so that they don’t sell out before you can snag the one you want.
To book your Fantasmic! Dining Package, visit Disney’s website or call (407) WDW-DINE.
The dining packages include an entrée and appetizer or dessert at select full-service restaurants or one buffet, as well as a non-alcoholic beverage. Guests who purchase the dining package also get a voucher for guaranteed seating in a reserved area for Fantasmic! Here are the restaurants and prices, according to the Disney World website:
- 50s Prime Time Cafe — $51 per adult and $22 for children (9 and under)
- Hollywood & Vine — Breakfast is $54 per adult and $36 per child, while lunch and dinner are $71 per adult and $47 per child
- Mama Melrose’s Ristorante Italiano — $54 per adult and $22 per child
- Sci-Fi Dine-In Theater Restaurant — $49 per adult and $22 per child
- The Hollywood Brown Derby — $73 per adult and $29 per child
You’ll pick up your seating voucher for the show at the time of your meal. You’ll have access to the reserved seating section, although individual seats within that section are not assigned (they’re given out on a first-come, first-served basis). You must arrive at Fantasmic! at least 25 minutes before the show starts in order to be seated in this reserved section.

I got up at 4:30 Central time and they had limited ones left. At first I got Brown Derby but after was fiddle faddling I got Mama’s. My daughter wants Sci Fi but Mama was the second choice. I noticed it says 1st showing but I didn’t see options for a second showing. When I try to look up times for showing s on their calendar I can’t tell if they plan to have multiple shows or not or even times of the show. Any ideas?

When will Fantasmic Dining Packages for January 2023 be available? Today is November 30, 2022 and you can only search for Fantasmic Dining Packages up to December 31; dates after that do not allow you to click on “Search Times” as no times appear for you to select in the drop down menu. If we are within 60 days of our arrival, why aren’t we able to book these dining packages? We’ve had to book just a regular ADR for dinner in Hollywood Studios since those are now fully booked. Will Disney open new availability for dinner at the restaurants if and when they make Fantasmic Dining Packages available in January? Or will we be allowed to upgrade our regular dinner ADR to a Fantasmic Dining Package?

Do we know if these types of packages are eligible for AP or DVC discounts?
