We’ve seen a TON of things return to Disney World over the past several months.
Traditional character meet-and-greets and traditional character dining has returned to many spots, and a lot of restaurants have reopened (with even more on the way!). One restaurant that returned in 2021 was Tusker House in Animal Kingdom. But it came back as a family-style meal, instead of its traditional buffet. And that’s how things stayed…until now!
Buffets are BACK at Tusker House Restaurant in Disney’s Animal Kingdom! This is a character dining spot in the Africa section of the park where you can see Donald Duck and his friends decked out in safari gear.
Since the restaurant reopened last year, the spot has been serving meals via family-style dining, as opposed to its regular buffet service. But now, the buffet is back! Let’s take a look at what they’re serving up over here.
When we went to the restaurant today, we stopped by the check-in desk…
…and then made our way into the restaurant when our table was ready.
At the table, you’ll find the drinks menu with alcoholic beverages you can buy at an additional cost.
We were also given an autograph card.
While the food is back to buffet service, we were provided some bread (rolls and Zebra bread) and a dip at the table. That was brought to us right after the Cast Member took our drink order.
Be careful not to fill up on too much of the bread before you hit the buffet!

After some character fn, it was time to HIT THE BUFFET. Grab those stretchy pants because this buffet is pretty large!

Kiddos (and kiddos at heart) also have some tasty (and simpler) options with mac & cheese, mashed potatoes, and more.
All I have to say is YUM 🤤

Did we mention there’s a lot to pick from on this buffet?
It’s not over yet.
It just keeps GOING.
And the desserts will seriously tempt anyone with a sweet tooth.
One dessert even featured a design with the Fab 5 in their safari best.
In other words, we had NO problem filling up our plate!

Has anyone on your team tried the breakfast buffet? The menu for it online was disappointing. I was wondering if it had more than what was stated.
