It’s the most wonderful time… of the year! The festive season is quickly approaching, which means that the Disney parks are kicking into holiday high gear.
During Disney’s Halfway to the Holidays event, we got the news that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party will be returning to Magic Kingdom in Disney World and Festival of Holidays will be returning to Disney California Adventure at Disneyland Resort. Festival of Holidays will run from November 11th, 2022, to January 8th, 2023, and will feature new and returning entertainment, activities, and perhaps most importantly: food! Disney recently released the menus for this year’s Festival of Holidays booths, so let’s take a look!
There are 9 festival marketplaces this year along with festival offerings at several other food locations around Disney California Adventure. There will be a LOT of new dishes this year, like the Twix Chocolate Bourbon Tart at the Visions of Sugarplums booth, the Curry Mac & Cheese and Guava-Melon Lassi at the A Twist on Tradition booth, and the Pumpkin Layered Cheesecake at the Grandma’s Recipes booth.
There will also be some items that are returning from previous years like the Impossible Chorizo Queso Fundido with House-made Tortilla Chips at the Brews & Bites booth, the Pork Belly Adobo at the Holiday duets booth, and the Mickey-shaped Gingerbread Cookie at the Grandma’s Recipes booth.
Most of the booths have 1-2 snack items with a few drink options as well (although a couple of booths have LONG drink menus, like the Making Spirits Bright and Brews & Bites booths).

As in past years, the Sip and Savor pass will be available for purchase. The pass consists of a commemorative credential, lanyard, and 8 coupons which can be redeemed at the Festive Foods Marketplaces for one food item or non-alcoholic beverage. The Sip and Savor pass usually costs between $50-$60 (it was $56 in 2021).
Don’t forget to grab your tasting passport to help you keep track of everything you want to try at the festival, too!
But food isn’t the only thing to do at the Festival of Holidays. There will be entertainment like the holiday overlay of World of Color called World of Color — Season of Light and you can even meet Santa at the Redwood Creek Challenge Trail.
We’ll be trying all of the new food items at the festival this year, so make sure to stay tuned to DFB for our full reviews.
