It’s finally happening!
Blizzard Beach is reopening in Disney World today (November 13th) after being closed for most of 2022. Right as Typhoon Lagoon (Disney World’s other water park) reopened in January, Blizzard Beach closed. But it’s finally back, and it’s bringing a new Frozen-theemd area with it! We’re here to give you the first look at the changes in this water park.
Blizzard Beach has reopened with hours from 10AM to 5PM. These will be the hours for the water park for the rest of 2022 as well.
We were excited to see all the updates, but the biggest changes have happened over at Tike’s Peak — the area that’s just for little kids!
This section of the park is now all themed to Frozen, meaning that we’ve got an adorable Olaf statue in the pool…
…joined by some cute little Snowgie monsters.
You can also play at the young Anna and Elsa igloo castle, which sprays water out at guests!
And we can’t forget about slides! These three are to the left of the Olaf pool for littles who aren’t ready for big slides yet.
And there’s another longer slide over to the right as well.
While Blizzard Beach is reopening, the water parks are swapping places once again, and Typhoon Lagoon is now closed for refurbishment. If you’re looking for other things to do in Disney World this month, you can’t miss doing these 5 things, but keep an eye on these closures as well. As always, stay tuned to DFB for all the latest Disney news!
