Have you taken the Sunshine Flyer buses to Disney World yet?
This is one of the bus options (the other being Mears Connect) that replaced Magical Express last year as a transportation service between the Orlando International Airport and Disney World. It’s just been announced that a new bus will be joining the fleet — this one themed after the Make-A-Wish Foundation!
The new bus, Firefly, serves as “a symbol of light and hope” and represents the Sunshine Flyer company’s continued relationship with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Central and Northern Florida. This “We Can Light the Way” campaign is the most recent partnership between Disney and Make-A-Wish.
When opening in February of 2022, the Sunshine Flyer donated 50% of its profits for its first 50 days of service to the Make-a-Wish foundation, raising $279,200, which granted 28 wishes for critically ill children. Make-A-Wish children and their families will receive complimentary service indefinitely on the Sunshine Flyer.
You can vote on which design you like best for the new bus right now over on the Sunshine Flyer Orlando Facebook page! There are 4 different designs to choose from, which you can see below. Voting will end on November 29th with the announcement of the winning design. So be sure to hop online and vote!
