Annual Passes are about to see a price increase in Disney World.
Right now, sales of most Annual Passes are paused, but renewals are available. We saw the Annual Pass system updated back in 2021 with some new pass types and pricing. And soon more changes will be on the way.
According to Disney, some changes are being made to Disney World Annual Passes soon.
First, let’s talk sales. New sales of the Incredi-Pass, Sorcerer Pass, and Pirate Pass remain PAUSED. Disney is keeping that pause in place right now as they focus on current passholders. But, the Disney Pixie Dust Pass (exclusive to Florida Residents) is available for purchase, and all Passes are available for renewal.
Now, let’s talk pricing. This is where we’ll be seeing some big changes. The Disney Pixie Dust Pass is going to remain at its current price (remember, this is the one where sales are still available). But, pricing for Disney World’s other Annual Passes will INCREASE. These changes will take effect on December 8th.
Here’s a breakdown of the pricing changes for NEW passes:
- Incredi-Pass (new sales paused, renewals available)
- Current price: $1,299
- New price: $1,399 (increase of $100)
- Sorcerer Pass (new sales paused, renewals available)
- Current price: $899
- New price: $969 (increase of $70)
- Pirate Pass (new sales paused, renewals available)
- Current price: $699
- New price: $749 (increase of $50)
- Pixie Pass (new sales available, renewals available too)
- Current price: $399
- New price: $399 (no increase)
This comes just as Disney announces changes to ticket pricing and other adjustments. In terms of renewal pricing, Disney World’s website still shows the following.
Renewal prices will be increased with the December 8th changes. Though Annual Passholders will still get the same percentage discount, the renewal prices are set to increase. Increases will be between $43-$100, depending on the pass type.
We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more updates and let you know what we find.

This is so upsetting. You raise the annual pass. Still under park reservation needed. You take away. And we get nothing in return but higher prices. And if we let go of out passes. We can’t get them back!! I have peen a passholder for 6 years and this is the worst!! Ever
Tammy says
The price increases are ridiculous. I’m out of state and have had an AP for about 5-6 years. When I first got it (Platinum pass) it was $770 and included photopass. Now it’s going up to $1399 and photopass is extra plus the whole park pass extra complexity. This may be my breaking point.
Michael says
Yes, I have been waiting for the pause to be lifted. I live in Alabama so Pixie not an option. I would heavily that in a heartbeat.

As we living in the UK can only purchase the Incredi pass we have both decided not to renew. It’s a shame but no longer willing to pay more for less.
Julie Saviano says
Do these new prices include tax?
As a DVC member and annual passholder, I feel like all the perks have disappeared.
Why don’t the CEO/CFO/COO and their counterparts take pay cuts instead of giving themselves bigger and more frequent bonuses?
DFB Gigi says
Hi Julie! Tax is not included.

I remeber listening to a podcast sometime after Bob Chapek was named CEO. He stated as a kid his family had gone down to DW once a year when he was a kid. Then I read an article about him talking about Annual Passes. He stated that Annual Pass holders act like DW and DL are their backyard play grounds as they go many times a year.
So with that said, I honestly believe he is jealous and vengeful that he could not go as often as pass holders. So it seems like he is going to make pass holders as well as other guest pay the price because he could only go once a year as a kid. And now that he is a multi-millionaire and hold the keys to Disney parks, he is going to jack up the prices os that only people like him can afford to go because his family probably could not afford to go more often. All this, because he didn’t get to go to DW more often as a kid. Thanks Bob.

Bob Chapek has to go ! Until he’s gone nothing absolutely nothing will change ! Case in point. Huge layoffs and freezing wages !! I would walk right out of there and go straight to Seaworld or Universal and get myself a new job. Disney is not the only game in town ‘

Unbelievable greed.

I am a DVC MEMBER and Annual Passholder for 30+ years. I find the costs increases in everything Disney in recent years as unconscionable. It is no longer a pleasure to enjoy your fine facilities so I will be very reluctant to spend my $ there. You no longer have the legacy of Walt and apparently out get the best deal for your executives and ruin the business in the long run.
Jackie says
I’ve had an annual pass for almost 20 years. They are robbing us blind, but since I’m a DVC member & not a FL resident it’s the lesser of evils. Although with the reservations system it’s meaningless.
Chapek is the WORST.
DFB I know you’re just providing facts, but you spin it way too positive. None of these charges are a good thing. At all.
I’m still mad about community soap in my $500/night hotel room. Yes, I buy my own. But it’s just one more hassle. Tough to travel with the added weight.

If you want to keep your annual passes then be cheap. If Disney is going to accuse you of being cheap and not buying the merchandise or food as much as people that pay for their day passes then you might as well live up to it. Go as much as you can but bring in your food and don’t buy your merch from Disney. We used to spend a bunch of money on that stuff but when we started hearing that line a BS from them and they started raising prices and dictating to us what people should think or feel about social issues or our private lives and taking away all the fun and escapism of Disney, we changed and started to live up to their assertions. Now we know it doesn’t make a difference coming from little old us but it makes us feel better and definitely offsets the cost of a Disney annual pass. Not to be a brown noser but we got alot of info on how to do this and cut our cost from DFB. Just search their website and you can really cut those cost in all kinds of ways. Good info. We also became Universal pass holders and that place is much much better as far as being a passholder. If you get those passes you won’t be sorry but you will realize how poorly you are being treated at Disney as a pass holder. Even more than you think now. We like to wear our Universal merchandise to Disney as out private little protest. Again, won’t make much of a difference but makes us feel better. But then again, if everyone does this on a mass scale, you never know.

i HAVE ALREADY STOPPED GOING TO WDW. DID NOT RENEW ANNUAL PASS.
P. AB says
Well, this ridiculous news was completely expected.
Increase the price again after reducing/taking away all the perks?
Yeah, sounds like the company’s continued trend for handling APers.
I was stunned to hear APs were even being opened for sale again. The company clearly doesn’t want APers there. The appear to literally be trying to price-up the AP insanely high, and remove all incentive to buy it at the same time. To me that equals “we’re really trying to phase this out by simply having people give up.”
Why even still have a “program”?
Mike Harris says
When does WDW typically announce new annual
Pass prices? November? My date is Nov. 13 so I can renew now. Should I do so as soon as possible?
