Walt Disney World has a TON of different food options, and you already know we’ve tried ’em all.
One of the best places to find a good meal in Disney World isn’t even in the parks, it’s over at Disney Springs! There’s a big variety of food options, like American, Irish, Spanish, Japanese, Italian, and more. And now, there’s some new food to try out over at Disney Springs!
Homecomin’ just got some NEW menu items for the holiday season! First up, we have the Jasper Board, which is an array of Southern charcuterie. Shaved honey ham, smoked sausage, country ham, pimento cheese, chicken salad, tomato-bacon jam, B&B pickles, candied pecans, crostini and house made crackers. You can get it for $28.
Next, there’s the Britton’s Chicken Salad Sandwich, which is Britton Smith’s recipe with pulled chicken, celery, grapes, Duke’s Mayo, and savory spices. It’s served with lettuce and tomato on artisan bread for $19.
There is also the new Skillet-Fried Chicken Paillard, which is Chef Art Smith’s spin on piccata. It’s a buttermilk-brined chicken pounded thin, hand-breaded and skillet-fried, then topped with lemon butter, garlic, and capers. It’s served with roasted potatoes and grilled asparagus for $28.
If you’re looking for something fresh, check out the Chopped BLT Salad, which has double-chopped iceberg lettuce with fried green tomato, pecan-smoked bacon, blue cheese crumbles, heirloom tomato, and red onion, tossed in blue cheese icebox dressing and drizzled with balsamic reduction for $18.
Another southern classic has been added to the menu — Brunswick Stew! This is a savory tomato-based broth, slow-cooked with pulled pork, chicken, peas, corn, lima beans, and fresh herbs with artisanal toast on the side for $14.
Next, there’s a new BBQ-Glazed Pork Chop which is Homecomin’s signature blueberry barbecue sauce on a thick-cut, chargrilled pork chop. It’s served with sweet potato mash and southern green beans for $37.
You can also get the new Sweet Potato Mash Skillet as a side item for $9.
For dessert, check out the new Hot Fudge Bourbon Brownie (yes, please!).
And, there are some new cocktails, too, like the Cranberry Gin Fizz, which is 14 Fords Gin, cranberry, lemon juice, and a dash of orange bitters for $14.
…and an Espresso Martini, which is Mr. Black Coffee Liqueur, vodka, and cold brew concentrate shaken to a frothy delight for $15.
We can’t wait to try out these new items! Stick around, because we’ll be bringing you a review soon.
