Two and a half years later, things are STILL reopening and returning in Disney World.
EPCOT’s Japan Pavilion
We’ve seen the slow reopening of hotels, gift shops, and restaurants around the property, and some things haven’t yet returned to normal. But today, we’re one step closer at EPCOT, thanks to some big restaurant news!
It’s official — Takumi-Tei has reopened in the Japan Pavilion! The restaurant’s opening was announced in an email to select guests a few days ago.

There are no hours listed for opening day (Wednesday, November 23rd), but they’re posted starting on Thursday, November 24th. The website also notes that “Takumi-Tei is not currently taking reservations. Walk-ins are welcome.”

Keep in mind that this is one of Disney World’s pricier meals, with dinner prices starting at $150 per adult. They serve an Omakase Menu, with variations for plant-based eaters and children.
