In case you missed it, we’ve been celebrating the festive season at the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays!
We’ve been taking you with us as we check out all the decorations, entertainment, food, and more, and now we’re heading to the France Pavilion to check out Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen!
If you’re into traditional French holiday eats, Le Marche de Noel Holiday Kitchen is the booth you’ll want to stop by.
From savory items to wine and specialty cocktails, there’s a lot to enjoy — let’s check it out!
Menu
On the menu are three returning items and four NEW eats this year! For food, we can once again enjoy the Napoleon de Saumon Fumé en Brioche as well as new items including the Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’ancienne, Pommes Dauphine, and the Macaron en Sucette, Ganache à la Menthe Poivrée et aux Chocolats Valrhona.
For drinks, you can order the returning Cranberry Mimosa and the Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini, or go for the new Côté Mas Syrah-Grenache or the Spiced Pumpkin Punch. Let’s see how everything tastes!
Food
It’s time to eat! First, we’re trying the returning Napoléon de Saumon Fumé en Brioche, which is a smoked salmon napoleon with layers of smoked salmon, dill mousse, and crème fraîche mousse served in brioche. This year, it costs $8.95.
Oh man, we LOVED this — the brioche was so flaky and buttery, it was light and airy without getting mushy. The dill mousse adds an herby freshness, while the creaminess of the mousse combines perfectly with the smoked salmon. The salmon tasted fresh and wasn’t overly smoky. This is definitely a more mature flavor profile, so it might not be great for kiddos or picky eaters — but we think it might be a contender for Best of the Fest this year!
Next up is the new dish, the Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’ancienne, Pommes Dauphine, which is roasted ham with mushrooms, pearl onions, bacon, mustard sauce, and puff potatoes. You can get it for $7.75.
This was a savory and salty explosion — but in the best way. The salty ham pairs so well with the mushrooms and mustard sauce which has an excellent tang. It reminded us of a mustard marsala mushroom sauce, so if you’re a fan of any of those elements you might like this dish. The puff potatoes were light and fluffy, sort of like a fried mashed potato ball. This is definitely something to try if you like savory, salty foods and are looking for something new from the festival!
Next up in France is the Rôti de Jambon Sauce Moutarde à l’anxienne with Pommes Dauphine 👏

The next new item on the list is the Macaron en Sucette, Ganache à la Menthe Poivrée et aux Chocolats Valrhona. It’s a macaron lollipop with peppermint and Valrhona chocolate ganache for $9.25.
If you’re a fan of chocolate and peppermint, this one is for you! It was like a peppermint patty with an extra crunch from the macaron. It was pretty heavy on the mint, so if you’re not a fan of that we’d recommend skipping this one. But, it’s a gorgeous dessert and something a little bit different from ice cream, milkshakes, and cookies!
Annnnd for a sweet treat in France we’re trying the Macaron en Sucette, Ganache à la Menthe Poivrée at aux Chocolats Valrhona 😋 a macaron lollipop with peppermint and chocolate ganache! 🍫 pic.twitter.com/rFH9Eyc3lW

It’s time to try some drinks!
Beverages
When it comes to drinks, there are two returning drinks and two new ones. The returning drinks include the Frozen Hot Chocolate Martini, made with Grey Goose La Vanille Vodka, vodka, chocolate milk, and whipped cream for $13.95. This drink has made our list of best of the fest in the past, and we loved it just as much this year. There wasn’t much of a strong alcohol flavor, so be cautious when drinking this one! It’s a Florida-friendly version of hot cocoa.
The Cranberry Mimosa is also back again this year, made with Pol Remy Sparkling Wine with orange juice and cranberry syrup for $9.95. It’s basically a typical mimosa with some fruitiness, and in our opinion, it has historically been too sweet. It’s still pretty sweet, but this year we tasted more of the cranberry than the orange which helped to cut down on the sweetness. We still think there are much better drinks and mimosas available at this festival (and even this booth!).
New to the drink menu this year is the Côté Mas Syrah-Grenache, for $6.75. This is a full bodied red wine, and is on the drier side. If you’re looking for a solid red wine to have at this festival, give this one a try. It’s a pretty decent pour for the price as well!
And finally, the Spiced Pumpkin Punch, made with Rhum Clement VSOP Vieux Agricole, spiced pumpkin purée, and oat milk for $13.50. We were surprised by how much we loved this! It tasted just like fall, and we enjoyed that it was made with oat milk as it made it taste like pumpkin pie! The pumpkin pie spices in the puree blend so nicely with the oat milk and the rum flavor is present without being too overpowering. Think of it like a spiked pumpkin pie milkshake!
So, what’s the final thought about this booth?
Overall
Last year, this booth disappointed us, but this year we were pleasantly surprised! The brioche was fresh and a great little snack, while the new ham dish was savory, tangy, and delicious. If you’re looking for savory snacks and some really excellent boozy frozen drinks, give the Marche de Noel booth a try!
