Are you ready? Are you excited? Because TODAY is the start of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays!
We’ve been preparing for this day by reading the menus, creating a DFB printable for the booths that you can download for FREE, and sharing our best tips for EPCOT festivals. It’s already been a great day of eating food at EPCOT’s most festive festival and we’re continuing with the Yukon Holiday Kitchen!
Menu
The Yukon Holiday Kitchen is located at the Canada pavilion and the menu is home to some hearty options at the festival including scallops!
There are no new menu items this year, but let’s see how these returning eats and drinks hold up!
Eats
Let’s start with the Seared Scallops that come with parsnip silk, apple chutney, and hazelnut croquant for $6.75. In the past, we’ve found that the garnishes add a great flavor to the creamy parsnip silk, so what is the dish like this year?
It probably won’t surprise you to hear that we loved the scallops just as much this year — it always feels like you’re getting a really good value with this dish. We did have one scallop that was perfectly cooked and one that was a little bit chewy, but they did have a great sear on them and excellent flavor. The parsnip silk tastes like a super fine mashed potato purée! It is a smaller portion, so keep that in mind.

The Beef Bourguignon with crushed potatoes is also available at this booth for $6. This is a hearty dish for a reasonable price and we’ve enjoyed it in past years. But we had to try it this year to see how it holds up!
You can’t go wrong with this dish — we love it year after year. It’s hearty and could easily be a light lunch — the portion size is much more generous than what you get with the scallops. The potatoes are on the chunky side, so if you’re expecting a smooth mashed potato you won’t find it here — but we think that helps keep this dish so hearty.
The meat is tender and falls apart easily, while the veggies are nicely cooked and tender as well. This does taste like something you could probably make in your crock pot, but it’s still a solid festival dish.

The Yukon Holiday Kitchen is another stop on the Cookie Stroll! It is home to the SNICKERS-Doodle Cookie made with SNICKERS bar pieces for $3. This was the sweetest and richest cookie we tried today — it’s definitely a Snickers cookie. The cookie itself tasted like a regular sugar cookie with a hint of peanut butter, and the Snickers pieces on top were an added fun bonus.
After a hearty meal at this booth, we had to see what the drinks were like!
Drinks
There are several different drinks on the menu here with one non-alcoholic option — Frozen Coffee for $4.50. It’s a classic frozen coffee, but nothing you probably haven’t already had before.
You can also get the Frozen Coffee with Tap 357 Whisky for $12.50. It’s the same coffee with whiskey and although it’s strong, it’s very balanced and we would drink it again!
On top of the Regional Icewine and Regional Red Wine, you can grab 3 beers here — the 81Bay Brewing Co. Peanut Butter Banana Porter, the Playalinda Brewing Co. Maple Cookie Blonde Ale, and the Collective Arts Coffee Maple Porter. These are available in a beer flight as well for $10.
That’s everything from the Yukon Holiday Kitchen!
Overall
Yukon Holiday Kitchen is a solid festival booth, but all the items this year were returning and nothing really wowed us. The scallops are great for being a festival dish and we do enjoy them, but we’ve had them before. Same with the beef bourguignon –it’s a solid snack and can even be a meal if you want, but it wasn’t knock your socks off good. If you’re looking for consistency and familiar flavors, though — this could be a hit for you!
