FULL REVIEW: The Funnel Cake Stand at the EPCOT Festival of the Holidays

TODAY is the start of the EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays and we’re bringing you with us every step of the way!

It’s time for the Festival of the Holidays!

We’ve picked out what we are trying on the menus, we’ve created a DFB exclusive printable for the festival, and we’ve been sharing the best festival tips we have to prepare! Along with all of the holiday kitchens in EPCOT, some of the existing restaurants and snack spots are getting festival-exclusive menu items, and we’re stopping by one such spot for a sweet treat!

Over at the Funnel Cake Stand in the American Adventure Pavilion you can typically find funnel cake dishes, including classic funnel cakes and specialty ones, like Cookies ‘n Cream! During past festivals, we’ve been able to taste dishes we truly wished were around all year, like the mini Pina Colada Funnel Cake at EPCOT’s 2022 Food & Wine Festival.

For the Festival of the Holidays, a NEW funnel cake is available with a classic holiday flavor, so let’s check it out!

Food

The new funnel cake here this year is a Mini Funnel Cake topped with peppermint ice cream, chocolate whipped cream, and crushed peppermint for $9.50. This sounds like a peppermint fan’s dream, so let’s dig in!

We LOVED the peppermint ice cream and the chocolate funnel cake was just as delicious! The chocolate whipped cream was also very good, and we have to say that this was one of the best things we had today.

Yum!

If you’re a fan of peppermint, this should NOT be skipped.

Overall

This is one of the smallest festival locations as far as the size of the menu, but peppermint fans would absolutely love this treat. The chocolate and peppermint together are one of those classic holiday flavors that we can’t help but love in funnel cake form.
