Craving a refreshing treat in Disney World? Love gelato or ice cream? Want to try snacks from the NEWEST Disney World spots? You’re in the right place.

New snacks pop up all over Disney World constantly, but in 2022 a brand new snack cart made its appearance in Disney’s Hollywood Studios. Is this spot a total skip or a must visit? Let’s find out!

At Disney’s Hollywood Studios, in Muppets Courtyard, you will now find a NEW gelato kiosk! Though it is not branded with the Vivoli il Gelato name, the prices are the same as Vivoli il Gelato in Disney Springs and it looks very similar to the Vivoli cart at Disney’s Riviera Resort (though the one in Hollywood Studios one has a different color scheme). Our receipt also had the Vivoli il Gelato name at the top, so it does appear that this cart is associated with the Vivoli brand.

We were VERY excited to find this new snack spot in the park and we of course had to taste a few of the gelato flavors to see what they were like. During our trip, a few different flavors were available including chocolate, dulce de leche, vanilla, and strawberry.

There was also a flavor of the day, which was Pumpkin Cheesecake. We opted to grab the flavor of the day along with some of the other more standard flavors.

We begin with the mango gelato!

Did we just magically get transported to a tropical paradise within Disney World, ’cause it sure feels like it! This gelato seriously had us reaching for our flip-flops and a towel — it made us feel like we were at the beach in the best way possible. 🏖

The gelato was very light and refreshing, making it an ideal snack for those ridiculously hot Florida days. Plus, the mango flavor was very pronounced, in a good way.

Next, it was time to tackle some cookies & cream gelato!

Our team member who tried the gelato rated this particular flavor a 100/10 — no kidding! 😂 In other words, this stuff is seriously tasty!

It really nailed that cookies and cream flavor. So if you simply can’t get enough of cookies and cream, do not hesitate to grab this. The gelato was also super creamy, which we loved.

If you’re looking for a more limited-time offering, check out the flavor of the day. During our visit, that flavor was Pumpkin Cheesecake!

This was another really creamy gelato, and oh, big surprise, it was…DELICIOUS! The pumpkin and cheesecake flavors were strong in a good way. Sometimes that cheesecake flavor doesn’t really come through in gelato (or ice cream) form, but we could really taste it here, and it was wonderful.

If you’re still holding on to that sense of fall (winter doesn’t start until December 21st, 2022 after all 😉 ) this could be a great one to pick up.

Overall, our team member shared that the cookies and cream gelato was their favorite. They fully disclosed that they love gelato and ice cream and they shared that this little kiosk just became their new favorite snack cart in all of Disney’s Hollywood Studios! So, if you (like our team member) LOVE gelato — do NOT skip this spot!

Each scoop is $7.50, or you can get 2 scoops for $8.75. That is a bit on the pricier side for a scoop (or two scoops) of gelato, but the flavors here were really fantastic, so you might find that it’s worth it. It all depends on how you want to spend that snack money!
