If you’re visiting Disney World this holiday season, you’ll want to check out the Christmas Tree Stroll in Disney Springs, go shopping for all kinds of holiday merchandise, and maybe even attend Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in Magic Kingdom. But don’t forget that one of the most festive parks for the season is EPCOT!
In EPCOT, there are lots of decorations, holiday treats galore, and (of course) the International Festival of the Holidays! We were there on the first day of the festival to bring you all the news and food booth reviews, and you can check out all those reviews here. But the festival isn’t the only update at this park. Come with us to check out everything that’s changed in EPCOT since our last visit!
EPCOT Festival Updates
Of course, the biggest news at EPCOT is the start of the International Festival of the Holidays.
This festival runs through December 30th, 2022. There are holiday kitchens all over the park with festive eats from around the world, and we tried all the new dishes (along with some returning ones).
Click here to see REVIEWS of every food booth at the 2022 EPCOT Festival of the Holidays.
There’s also lots of live entertainment throughout EPCOT, including the fan-favorite Candlelight Processional. You can reserve your spot at the processional by booking a dining package.
Other entertainment offerings include storytellers around World Showcase, Joyful: A Celebration of the Season, and the Voices of Liberty, who sing Christmas carols at the American Adventure pavilion.
Check out all the entertainment at the Festival of the Holidays here.
Don’t forget to check out Olaf’s Holiday Tradition Expedition, and earn a free cookie when you complete the Cookie Stroll, too! There are holiday-themed ride overlays (don’t miss Figment in his Christmas sweater!), Santa Claus meet-and-greets in the Odyssey pavilion, exclusive souvenirs, and more.
And if you stay late enough, you can watch the special light show on Spaceship Earth that debuted for the occasion. There’s a lot to see and do at this festival, so check out our complete guide so that you don’t miss a thing!

You can also watch our DFB Video, which shows a bunch of the best treats at this year’s festival.
But the festival isn’t the only news — let’s check out all the other updates in EPCOT now!
EPCOT Construction Updates
Over near Test Track, the little snack stand Cool Wash has been under construction for a while now. The kiosk previously had a new sign installed that said Refreshment Station, but recently we saw that the sign was first covered by a tarp and then completely removed.
Disney hasn’t announced any updates about Cool Wash, but we’ll be watching for news about the changes here.
Over in the France pavilion of EPCOT’s World Showcase, the ornament dioramas have popped up, filled with holiday scenes.
Inside the giant ornaments, you can see holiday scenes at iconic France landmarks, like the Eiffel Tower.
Stop by this pavilion to check out all the displays!
