Calling all Disney Adults and childless millennials! If you’re looking for some of the restaurants where you’ll find a number of other adults and child-free people like you, we’ve got the list you need.
Now, Disney is a family-friendly spot where kids of ALL ages (and kids at heart) can hang out, eat some delicious food, and say “hey” to Mickey too. But there are some places that just happen to be a bit more friendly for or frequented more often by the so-called “Disney Adults” and older folks without kiddos. While not all Disney Adults are the same and preferences can certainly vary, today we’re sharing our list of some of the TOP spots in Disney World that are popular with or well suited for adults without kiddos.
Again, keep in mind that this is our list based on what spots can be popular with adults — but your preferences or experiences may vary. If you’ve got some thoughts about places on this list or places that should be added to this list, drop us a comment below!
Character Dining
‘Ohana
‘Ohana makes our list as the best pick for Disney Adults when it comes to character dining. ‘Ohana offers character dining at breakfast only, and if you score an early enough reservation you may be up before some of the kiddos.
Plus, its location in a resort hotel — Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort — as opposed to a theme park, gives it a more tucked-away feel. As it is not in a park and guests who are not staying at the Polynesian may not know about it, it can fly under the radar. But it shouldn’t for you!
While there are a number of festivities that take place during breakfast that are friendly to kiddos, it can be a popular Disney Adult spot — especially given the more “rare” characters you can see here, like Stitch and Lilo. Couple that with some tasty eats and a few breakfast drinks, and you’ve got a winner on your hands.

Our honorable mention here goes to Artist Point — Story Book Dining with Snow White. This is again located in a hotel (Disney’s Wilderness Lodge) but is only available for dinner. It has a little bit more of a sophisticated atmosphere, features rare characters, and the menu has some solid food options.

Disney Springs Table Service
At Disney Springs, our top pick for adults when it comes to table service restaurants is Wine Bar George. It’s the one Disney World restaurant that is practically perfect according to just about everyone, and we can’t say we disagree.
Maybe you come in to *hopefully* meet Master Sommelier George Miliotes. Maybe you come in for the industrial chic vibes. Maybe it’s a seat at the bar for you or a table at this hip setting. Perhaps it’s the extensive drink list, the crispy mac & cheese bites, or the cheese on FIRE.
Whatever brings you to this location, you will likely encounter many Disney Adults here enjoying the same things.

In terms of honorable mentions, we want to throw out Chef Art Smith’s Homecomin’ (an ever-popular spot for fried chicken, moonshine, and Southern eats), as well as The Edison (which couples entertainment and some MASSIVE drinks with a unique vibe and great eats).
We’ve eaten at EVERY Disney Springs restaurant, these are the best
Disney Springs Quick Service
Gideon’s Bakehouse would probably top this list, but since that’s more of a snack than a meal (though we won’t judge if you just eat cookies and cake for lunch), we’ve opted to put The Polite Pig in the top spot! You might not think “I’m going to go to Disney World to eat BBQ and delicious cauliflower” but you’ll change your mind after a trip to The Polite Pig.
Between the delicious everyday food offerings, unique Chef specials, sharable dishes (great to split with friends), and drink options (beers, cocktails, and whiskey — oh my!), there’s a lot that’ll bring in the Disney Adults to The Polite Pig and keep them coming back again and again.

EPCOT Table Service
Looking for the EPCOT table service (sit down) restaurant the Disney Adults flock to? Look no further than the Canada pavilion where Le Cellier serves tasty eats in a dark & sophisticated (yet relaxed) environment.
Hop down into the Canadian wine cellar-inspired restaurant for poutine, Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup, steak (of course), and maybe even a creme brulee or two. The signature restaurant feel coupled with some amazing eats makes this a great hideaway in the middle of a very busy park.

EPCOT Quick Service
If you want a quick bite to eat, you may find a number of Disney Adults making their way to Yorkshire County Fish Shop in EPCOT’s United Kingdom pavilion. The menu is small but sometimes fish & chips paired with a lager is all you need.
Another popular pick (and our tie/honorable mention here) is Regal Eagle Smokehouse: Craft Drafts & Barbecue. The name alone probably clues you into why this can be a popular pick for Disney Adults.
You can couple some more elaborate meals than what you’d expect from a theme park counter service spot (like a sliced Texas beef brisket sandwich) with a variety of craft brews on tap, along with a specialty cocktail. Plus, its mid-way location in EPCOT’s World Showcase makes it a great stopping point before you continue your eating/drinking adventures around the world.

Resort Table Service
Next, we’ll tackle the Disney World resorts, which are home to a plethora of incredible restaurants that might get overlooked by many but not by Disney Adults in the know. In terms of a top resort table service, we’re going to give the award to California Grill at Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Located at the top of the resort, the views from here are spectacular. Just imagine the pictures you can get for your Instagram or videos for TikTok from the outdoor viewing area. Yep, all your followers are sure to be jealous!
Pair that with a menu full of high-quality items, a sophisticated (yet comfortable) atmosphere, and plenty of drink choices, and you’ve got a great dinner pick. Just keep in mind that for now, this spot is serving a PRICEY prix fixe dinner menu as part of the 50th Anniversary celebrations.

But California Grill isn’t the only popular spot for Disney Adults. Sanaa at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge (Kidani Village) is another great choice thanks to its views of the savanna, out-of-the-way (a.k.a. more under-the-radar) location, and seriously delicious and unique African and Indian-inspired eats. Another great choice is Topolino’s Terrace — Flavors of the Riviera at Disney’s Riviera Resort (for dinner). The views here are spectacular, the atmosphere is classy and modern, the pasta is handmade and the type of dishes foodies dream about, and you could even experience it all from the bar if you don’t want a traditional table service meal.

Resort Quick Service
And finally, we wrap up with some of the quick service spots in the hotels that are popular with Disney Adults. There are a few that could make this list. For our winner, we’re giving it to Capt. Cook’s at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort. If you follow a Disney Instagram account and have wondered just where they grabbed that GIANT piece of french toast looking deliciousness (a.k.a. Tonga Toast), odds are it was from there (or Kona Cafe — but that’s a table service restaurant!).
You can also grab some other great items at Capt. Cook’s including the Pulled Pork Nachos and some desserts that are sure to make your Instagram feed. That, plus the ability to hop right over to Trader Sam’s Grog Grotto and/or Pineapple Lanai to grab that absolutely necessary DOLE Whip or signature drink, makes the Polynesian (and many of its restaurants) popular with Disney Adults (and many other people!).

Other popular counter service resort spots for Disney Adults can include Roaring Fork at Wilderness Lodge (tucked away with some good eats), Gasparilla Island Grill at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (do NOT miss the mac & cheese), and The Mara at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort (get those zebra domes!).
