Disney Cruises have a LOT to offer, from exclusive food offerings to unique entertainment!
There are also special themed days on certain Disney cruises, like Marvel Day at Sea and Star Wars Day at Sea. And now, we know more about the NEW Pixar Day at Sea coming to Disney Cruise Line in January of 2023!
Starting on January 7th, 2023, Pixar Day at Sea will debut on nine of the the seven-night sailings on the Disney Fantasy cruise ship. This will include a day-long celebration dedicated to everything Pixar! There will be an all-new nighttime spectacular, character encounters, dance and pool parties, and activities the whole families can enjoy.
Starting off with the character encounters, there will be some character greetings with characters from Toy Story, Monsters, Inc., The Incredibles, and Inside Out. You will also get to meet Miguel from Coco, Remy from Ratatouille, and Dug and Russell from Up. And, there will be some ship-wide guest announcements from Dug, Dory, Edna Mode, and Roz!
On the top deck of the ship will be the Pixar Pals Celebration, which is an interactive, high-energy deck party extravaganza in the early evening featuring a bunch of Pixar Pals.
During the day, families can check out Crush’s Totally Awesome Pool Party, which will have pool-side games and interactions from Crush himself, along with other surprise interactive moments on the upper decks.
At the end of Pixar Day at Sea, The Incredibles will be the guests of honor at a super celebration up on deck. Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, and Frozone will be at An Incredible Deck Party: Celebrate the Supers, where they will get a smooth sailing award for a spectacular day at sea. But, Jack-Jack gets loose on the ship, causing action, antics, and surprises to ensue! This will end with a fireworks finale.
There will also be many Pixar-themed activities offered, like the chance to meet the Pixar storytellers behind the movies, learn to draw your favorite characters, and watch some of your favorite Pixar movies!
Test your memory during Dory’s Memory Game, get in touch with your emotions at the Inside Out Game Show, become an honorary member of the Green Army Patrol during Sarge Says, make Remy’s favorite dish (Ratatouille) at Anyone Can Cook, or take to the stage with your best jokes during a Monsters, Inc. Open Mike Nite.
There will be some themed activities just for kids as well, like making music with Miguel from Coco, hanging out with Ian from Onward, or building your own Forky from Toy Story 4.
But, that’s not all — Disney teased that more details will be released about this celebration soon, including a hint about a rootin’, tootin’ breakfast you won’t want to miss!
