The Disney World website has a TON of helpful information for when you’re planning your trip.
Of course, we bring you those tips that you won’t get anywhere else — but you can find a lot of what you’re looking for on Disney’s website, too. Park hours, show times, reservation availability, you name it. Disney also shares important updates there, and a new message for guests is now on the website.
You’ll find several important updates on the Disney World website, including the latest health and safety information, theme park reservations, help with the mobile app, and more. Disney recently added a new section on the Preparing for Your Visit page labeled “Courtesy” with a message that reads, “Be the magic you want to see in the world.”
The message continues when you click on “Read More,” and says, “You must always remember to treat others with respect, kindness and compassion. Those who can’t live up to this simple wish may be asked to leave Walt Disney World Resort.” There’s also a link to view the Disney World property rules.
It seems as though Disney wants to remind guests that being kind and respectful of others is basic human decency, and if guests are unable to do so and it causes a disturbance, they can be asked to leave Disney World.
So, the next time you’re in Disney World and are exhausted, frustrated, or whatever the case may be — remember to “Be the magic you want to see in the world” and treat others kindly. Chances are you’re at Disney World to have a good time, and so is everyone else!

Good for you, Disney. Let’s treat each other with kindness and respect. Be friendly. Remember to smile. One of my daily affirmations is “I will always look for the good in everyone around me.” The more kindness we share, the more we get back.
John E Manly says
Pretty much common sense, but needed today!
Richard says
The warning will stop nothing. Reduce the crowds, reduce the cost would go a long way to help reduce stress and confrontations.
Jack says
Yeah. That’ll do something for sure!
FL-Dad says
Disney needs to put that up on signs at each ride queue.
Another one is: No line cutting. I hate it when one person is on line and then 8 or 9 other people come pushing up the line to join the one person.
Emmet Broderick says
What a very sad state of affairs when you have to remind guests at Disney World, of all places, to act like a decent human being!!
Barbara says
This kind of warning shouldn’t even be necessary. Treat people the way you would like to be treated. That’s all there is to it.
Joy Caldwell says
Well said!
Roz says
I think courtesy is of the utmost importance. With that said it should start with some ( and the emphasis is on some) of the Disney employees. We were there a couple weeks ago and encountered more than one very rude employee. So maybe Disney should practice what it preaches. Just saying
Kelly says
LOVE !!!!!!!!!! This!!!!! If you are mean and nasty, now it is in writing that you can be asked to leave!!!!
Laura says
Good. I hope WDW will start cracking down on people acting the fool in the parks.
Ron says
I agree completely with what Disney has said. . However, this is a two way street. Disney IS NOT treating us, the guests with Kindness and Respect by constantly raising prices and taking away perks. Since my family and I have been visiting Disney since 1984, we feel that these actions and reactions by guests have begun after the Pandemic. It’s not a coincidence that at the same time, Disney made changes that question whether Disney today is the HAPPIEST AND MOST AFFORDABLE PLACE ON EARTH.
Laura says
Am I the only one that finds this sad and rather heartbreaking? When did we, as a society, decide that basic manners, respect, and courtesy were unnecessary, old fashioned, and irrelevant, to daily life? And, what is even sadder is that it’s gotten to the point that Disney now feels the need to remind us of how we should
behave and set a consequence for us if we don’t.
FL-Dad says
The thing that really got me liking Disney World back before 2020 was the reality that, no matter where people came from, what they believed, what they looked like, everyone came to Disney and got along to have fun.
Something changed during the Plandemic, and when it was over, people came back with a much worse attitude, and no one wanted to get along with anyone else. Everyone was out for themselves, and cared not for anyone else. It’s sad that we are where we are. If people don’t change their ways to be more accepting and patient with others in the same place, not just Disney won’t survive, but neither will we as a society.
If you cannot be at the very least respectful of other people’s basic humanity while at Disney, please don’t go. Don’t run your stroller or EV into other people. Don’t cut in lines. Don’t stand in front of people who have been waiting to watch fireworks shows, and don’t put your kid on your shoulders when standing in front of other people– it’s just plain RUDE. All the other basics of human interaction apply too. If you don’t know what those are, stay home.
