It’s Christmas week, and there’s a lot happening in Disney World!
We’ve tried holiday snacks, seen holiday entertainment, and shopped DOZENS of holiday merchandise items, but there’s so much more than just the seasonal news to check out in the parks. We’ve been to Magic Kingdom multiple times in the past week and we’re sharing all the updates from the park that you completely missed!
Food Updates
Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe
Let’s start things out at Cosmic Ray’s Starlight Cafe, where we got some new menu items this week! We stopped by to try them out and give a full review. First there was the Sweet and Sour Shrimp Salad for $12.59.
If you’re craving some carbs, you can get the Grilled Chicken Sandwich for $12.59 as well. It comes served with a side of fries.
In the way of beverages, we’ve got the Sully Slush. This blue drink is not really anything special, but you can get one for $5.99.
To see what we thought of all the new menu items, make sure to check out our full review!

Construction Updates
TRON Lightcycle Run
As far as construction goes, the main project we’re looking at currently is the TRON Lightcycle Run coaster in Tomorrowland. We noticed that for the most part, the landscaping for this attraction is complete!
We’re still missing a few trees and just a little bit of paving, but we’ve got full sidewalks and it looks like a more complete ride now. We can’t wait to check it out in a few months!
Merchandise Updates
The Emporium
Moving on to merchandise, we have quite a few new items to share with you! First there’s this Pixar Mega Figure Set for $49.99. We spot a LOT of fan-favorite characters!
If you’re a kitchen queen, then you need this Princess Tiana Baking Set for $34.99. It has multiple tools to help you create some stellar confections.
Is Wanda Maximoff your favorite character in the Marvel Cinematic Universe? If so, this Scarlet Witch Mug was MADE for you. Get it in The Emporium for $19.99.
We spotted three newer keychains this week that you might want to pick up as a slightly cheaper souvenir. There’s Mickey Mouse…
…Minnie Mouse in her classic hat…
…and Judy Hopps from Zootopia. They’re $14.99 each!
If you liked the Pixar figure set but were hoping for a different franchise, we’ve got you covered! There’s also a Star Wars Mega Figure Set for $49.99.
We’ve been spotting a lot of new 2023 merchandise recently, and now there’s a 2023 shirt for kids to add to the collection! Get it for $36.99.
If you’re hoping for a cheaper 2023 souvenir, try this pen instead. It’s priced at $9.99.
Even though we’re close to Christmas, the holiday merchandise collection got a new item! We spotted these holiday Minnie Mouse pants for $54.99.
And last but not least in The Emporium, there’s a new Baymax Mug for $19.99.
You can never have too many Disney mugs!
Uptown Jewelers
If you head across the street to Uptown Jewelers, you’ll find a bunch of new merchandise as well! First we found this over-the-top Prince Charming Regal Carrousel Headband for $59.99. It’s so pretty!
And speaking of over-the-top things that are stunning — what do you think of the Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dress? It’s a pricey $198, but it’s one of the better dresses we’ve seen.
If you would like some shiny accessories, there are several new watches as well. First there’s this Mickey Mouse Watch for $125.
Fans of The Aristocats will love the Marie Watch for $55.
And finally, we have two other character designs for $65 each — Ariel and Stitch.
We’ve seen the Jack Skellington watch previously, but it’s still in stock.
Big Top Souvenirs
In the back of the park, there are new items at Big Top Souvenirs! First up is the Alice in Wonderland Game that we’d seen online previously. It’s $39.99.
Adding to the 100th Anniversary collection for The Walt Disney Company, we have this set of chocolate bars for $15.99.
And lastly, there’s a Star Wars Phone Case for $29.99.
Right now, you’ll find a lot of Star Wars and space-themed merch in here since Tomorrowland Light & Power Co. is temporarily closed for TRON construction.
Fantasy Faire
When the Disney100 merchandise collection first dropped, this Mickey and Minnie 100th Anniversary Pin sold out rather quickly, but this week, it was in stock in Fantasy Faire!
You can pick up this highly sought-after collectible for $14.99.
Star Traders
And last but not least, it wouldn’t be an update without some new Stitch merchandise! This Stay Cool Stitch Shirt can be purchased for $36.99 at Star Traders.
That’s everything new in Magic Kingdom from the past few days, but we’ll keep you updated if we spot any more new merchandise, news stories, or construction changes! We’re just a few days away from the new year and 2023 is going to be very exciting for Disney World!
