Disney’s Boardwalk Inn is going through a period of big changes right now. There’s a renovation of the guest rooms that’s set to take place, the new Cake Bake Shop will be opening on the BoardWalk in 2023, and the recently opened Boardwalk Deli took the place of the former BoardWalk Bakery. In short, this Disney resort has been busy! Now, another major change happened.
Today we stopped by Disney’s Boardwalk Inn so we could check out the newest edition to the resort, Carousel Coffee!

The inside of the shop is quite small, but it has all the essentials. There’s a pastry case with some grab-and-go goodies…

Though small, there are some cute decorations in this shop including some carousel-inspired artwork/photos.

The line was relatively short but people had quickly discovered this new spot early in the morning.

In terms of menu items, the shop features coffee, tea, pastries, and some Joffrey’s Coffee options as well. There is a vintage Mickey & Minnie sugar cookie, muffins, NJ crumb cake, bagels, and more. They will also have seasonal options like the Dark Cherry Mocha Frozen Blended Coffee. For the FULL menu, click here.

Looking forward to trying the coffee here. Boardwalk is our home DVC resort. Did the coffee shop take over other space in the BW lobby area? Just curious exactly where it is.
Is this a spot to refill our length-of-stay resort mugs with morning coffee?
Hi Randy! Carousel Coffee is now where Dundy’s Sundries was previously.
We will be down on the 10th for 2 weeks usually do a resort hop day to see what’s new. Only issue is it looks more like a Hampton inn breakfast area than a WDW shop. We are getting one of the wilderness lodge (will always be wildernesses lodge to me it was our first DVC in 2001) hope the rehab isn’t like staying in a Hampton inn, could be disappointing.
I didn’t see any mug refill area. But I sure loved the coffee! I had a cinnamon bun hot latte and it was delicious!
Did they open Carousel Coffee mid-renovation, just to get the food & drink options out there while still planning to introduce more colorful carousel theming? I would hate to think that Disney Imagineering intentionally designed Carousel Coffee to look like a bland, dull, chain hotel coffee shop. We recently stopped in the BoardWalk to see the holiday decorations and loved taking pictures of all the whimsical turn-of-the-century Atlantic City touches throughout the lobby areas!
