UPDATED December 2, 2024
Disney World is known for its stellar entertainment, but one park is just a bit more magical than the rest.
We’re talking about Magic Kingdom, of course. From parades and cavalcades to stage shows and nighttime spectaculars, chances are there’s something to keep just about anyone entertained in the OG Disney World park. We don’t want you to miss a thing — so we’ve rounded up a FULL list of showtimes for parades, fireworks, castle shows, and more in Magic Kingdom.
You’ll find PLENTY of entertainment nearly everywhere you look in Magic Kingdom. From live music to parades, cavalcades, stage shows, and nighttime spectaculars — there’s always something new and interesting to see if you know where to find it! We’ve rounded up the showtimes for Magic Kingdom parades, fireworks, castle shows, and more.
But, before we start — keep in mind that these showtimes are subject to change. Disney might update these for several reasons — maybe the park is closing early one night or they’re getting ready for a special event.
The below show times are generally accurate, but make sure you check the My Disney Experience app on the date of your visit for the most up-to-date information.
We also make sure to let you know when Disney makes a showtime change, but if a parade or show is canceled due to weather or something last minute, the My Disney Experience app is going to have that updated information first! Now, onto the main events!
Happily Ever After
The Happily Ever After fireworks spectacular is currently showing nightly* at 8PM.
*Keep in mind that, on select nights from November 8th through December 20th, 2024, Magic Kingdom is closing early to host a special ticket event: Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. On Party nights, Happily Ever After will NOT be shown. However, Party guests will get to enjoy the Holiday Fireworks spectacular: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks!

Frozen Holiday Surprise
Throughout the holiday season, Magic Kingdom guests can see Frozen Holiday Surprise! Frozen Holiday Surprise features Olaf and more than a hundred of his Snowgie siblings, as well as Anna, Elsa, and Kristoff, in their seasonal best, all coming together to decorate the castle. The show culminates with Elsa transforming Cinderella Castle into a “shimmering crystallized palace.”
The show is presented each night during the Holiday season at 6:15PM. Special 8:15PM performances will take place on Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party event nights, adding another layer of entertainment to that after-hours seasonal event.
Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks
From December 21st through December 29th, 2024, all Magic Kingdom guests can see a special show that’s typically only presented during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party: Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks! Catch it at 8PM nightly during those dates.
Catch it at 8PM nightly during those dates (in lieu of Happily Ever After).
Magic Kingdom New Year’s Eve
The Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks will be shown at both 6:30PM and 11:50PM, leading into a countdown to the New Year!
In fact, it can be seen on TWO nights: December 30th AND December 31st at two times each day, 6:30PM and 11:50PM.

Let the Magic Begin
What better way to start your day than with a celebration that includes your favorite Disney characters? This opening show features a Mickey-led musical number in front of Cinderella Castle.
You’ll only catch this show once per day — 5 minutes before the park officially opens (which is most often 9AM, but occasionally 8AM, so be sure to know the day’s park hours before you go).
Make sure you’re ready to head into the park bright and early if you don’t want to miss Let the Magic Begin — guests are permitted to be on Main Street, U.S.A. prior to the official opening of the park to head towards Cinderella Castle to see the show.
