There’s a new way to save on dining in Disney World!
Thanks to Disney’s new Dining Card Promo, you can get what is essentially a gift card that you can only use at select Disney World restaurants. If you’re staying at a Disney hotel, you might be eligible to receive one! Disney had previously mentioned that you could receive up to $750 in money to spend on food, but it looks like that may not always be the case — here’s what we know.
The Dining Promo Card is basically a gift card that you can use at select Disney World restaurants. The card is included with certain hotel reservations, and if you have a qualifying Disney hotel reservation, you’ll receive the promo card in your email once you check into your reservation. The card’s value depends on your vacation arrival date, how long you’re staying at the hotel, and which hotel you choose.
Originally, Disney shared that the offer is good for up to a $750 Dining Promo Card, but a reader tipped us off that they were able to actually get MORE money on a Promo Card after booking! They said they booked a 7-night stay and were told they would have $1,050 to spend on food.
We looked into it a bit further, and saw that the Disney World website actually states the following:
- $750 Disney Dining Promo Card for stays at select Disney Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts. The value of the Disney Dining Promo Card is determined by Disney Resort hotel and length of stay.
- One Disney Dining Promo Card per room—valid for packages that include up to $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card. If a package includes more than $1,000 on a Disney Dining Promo Card, the value will be distributed across more than one Disney Dining Promo Card.
So, it looks like you CAN get more than $750 on a Dining Promo Card. If the package includes more than $1,000 on a Promo Card, it will be distributed across more than one card. This makes sense since the card’s value depends on how many nights you’re staying and which resort you’ve booked!
The Dining Promo Card offer is valid for stays between June 25th and September 14th, 2023. Guests must book a minimum 4-night stay at a Disney World hotel with at least 4 days of park tickets in order to be eligible to receive the card. Head over to the Disney World website to book if you want to take advantage of this new deal.

I did post when you initially mentioned the dining card. I will receive $1350 for my stay at Bay Lake Tower in July. I’ve heard people complaining on TikTok and YouTube about this, but I’m not complaining in the least bit! 🙂 It is extra money for food!

Hi AJ,
We went ahead and booked with the Dining Promo Card. But we can’t find which restaurants in WDW are included. Can you help us find it?
Thanks and regards,
Joaquin
