We’ve already got inside details about the NEXT Avatar film, we’ve seen changes happen at Satu’li Canteen in Animal Kingdom, and more could be on the way for Pandora. A HUGE announcement has just come out about the recent film — it’s just beat another top-grossing film of all time!
According to Variety, Avatar: The Way of Water has grossed $1.708 billion globally, meaning it has now overtaken Jurassic World, which originally held the title of “seventh-highest grossing movie in box office history.”

At the international box office, it’s now the 5th highest-grossing film of all time, behind Avatar, Avengers: Endgame, Titanic, and Avengers: Infinity War.

It’s very possible this film could become one of the few that has crossed the milestone of making $2 billion, and we’ll be sure to keep an eye on reports to let you know if that happens.
