I agree that all of these factors are probably at play. Disney keeps nickel & diming its customers & it’s getting financially painful. The recession is a very real life factor & many families are tightening their belts especially when it comes to vacations. Disney is a very expensive vacation destination for the average American. Although, I think the politics is probably a bigger factor than Disney wants to admit in its downturn in visitors. Disney should be about wholesome family fun, an escape from the problems/ tensions in the world, & feel good entertainment. Unfortunately, Disney has chosen to push LGBTQ agenda more & more aggressively as well as what appears to be a racist diversity/inclusion/equity policy. Parents wanting to protect their children from harmful sexualization are saying “That’s enough!” I personally know dozens of hard core Disney fans who have boycotted all things Disney. Maybe Disney will get the hint, but it’s looking more like they will probably continue on their path of alienating half their loyal fan base. Sad…
