If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, one thing you should do BEFORE your trip is to check the weather.
Why? Well, knowing what the weather will be during your vacation will not only help you decide what to pack, but could also help you make backup plans in the event weather closes rides or let you know if you need to bring a raincoat to the parks. Today, though, weather is impacting something you may not have thought about.
So the weather in Disney World today is COLD. Not only that, but it’s also windy — which could impact your day in Magic Kingdom. How? Well, when it’s windy, parts of the park could shut down during the nightly Disney Enchantment fireworks.
While we were walking through Storybook Circus today, we noticed a sign saying as much and warning guests that the land could be closed during tonight’s fireworks.
So if you’ll be in Magic Kingdom tonight and have plans to skip the fireworks and hop on some rides, you might want a backup plan just in case those rides are closed during the show. We’ve also seen high winds cause fireworks shows to be canceled, so we’ll keep an eye on things in case that happens.
In the meantime, stay tuned to DFB for more — we’ll let you know how the weather can impact your day in Disney World.
