Prepare your wallets — we’ve got exciting merchandise news to share with you!
There’s no shortage of merchandise in the Disney universe — we just spotted ears starring a rare character, as well as a new 100th Anniversary H&M collection, among so much more. Now there’s a new collection of dolls coming next month that you seriously CANNOT miss!
Disney is partnering with CreativeSoul Photography, a Black-owned business founded by Regis and Kahran Bethencourt, to release the CreativeSoul Doll Dollection, a new collection of diverse dolls inspired by Disney Princesses!
The four dolls — Cinderella, Tiana, Rapunzel, and Snow White — are designed to have natural hairstyles and intricate Afrocentric fabrics and adornments implemented in their designs.
The dolls will be $59.99 each and will be available on shopDisney and in Disney World and Disneyland starting on Febraury 3rd. The designers will also be meeting guests and signing books and dolls from February 3rd through 5th at EPCOT’s Festival of the Arts.
The dolls are inspired by 5 CreativeSoul Photography prints, which will also be available for purchase for a limited time as large wall prints and smaller deluxe prints.
This collection is one of the ways Disney continues to Celebrate Soulfully, which is an initiative that invites everyone to gather for experiences that honor Black heritage and culture through music, food, art, and more. Be sure to stay tuned to DFB for more news about these dolls when they’re released, and for all the latest Disney merchandise news!
