Something has CHANGED at EPCOT.

Well, actually, a LOT of things are changing in this park! The parking lot has new character themes and signs, a brand NEW walk-through attraction is coming, and a whole area is being refurbished to feature some festival-specific areas. But now another change has been made to this park.

The entrance to the EPCOT parking lot is looking VERY different. Earlier, Disney revealed that a redesigned auto plaza marquee would soon be installed, and we got our first taste of the changes today.

Here’s a look at the old EPCOT entrance.

And here’s a look at the updated parking entrance (so far).

At the moment, only the “Welcome” letters appear to have been replaced and a new “EPCOT” sign is not present. We expect an EPCOT sign could be added soon as part of the updated marquee so we’ll keep an eye out for that.

…match with the current EPCOT lettering style, giving it that retro yet also new feel.
