There are lots of hotels at Disney World, but did you know that Disney owns other hotels outside of the theme park area?
Down in Vero Beach, Florida, (about 2 hours southeast of Disney World), there’s Disney’s Vero Beach Resort. It’s a great place to visit if you’re looking for a vacation that’s a little more relaxed than the theme parks but still has a touch of Disney magic. If you’re planning to stay at this resort soon, you need to know about an upcoming pool closure!
Disney announced that the Vero Beach Feature Pool and Pirate’s Plunch Pool Slide will be CLOSED for refurbishment early next year, from January 8th, 2024, through late March 2024.
While these areas are being refurbished, the Tiger Lily Wet Play Area, Port Holes Miniature Golf course, and whirlpool spa will also be closed.
Disney warns that guests might see and hear construction work during the day, typically from 9AM to 6PM, and they may need to follow temporary signs to go around the site while work is being done.
If you’re visiting Vero Beach Resort soon, be sure to plan around that closure. And stay tuned to DFB for more updates on all the latest Disney news.
