Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur was originally a Marvel comic series that ran from 2015 to 2019 and follows the adventures of Lunella Lafayette, a 13-year-old “super genius” and her 10-ton pet T-Rex, whom she calls “Devil Dinosaur.” The series the pair follows as they save New York City’s Lower East Side from danger.
Disney announced that Moon Girl will have a “special one-day-only entertainment celebration” on February 15th, which will include a cavalcade along Hollywood Boulevard and a stage show on the Hollywood Backlot Stage. That celebration only lasts one day, but the Moon Girl meet-and-greet will “stay around for a little while.”
We’re so excited that this comic series will be brought to life as an animated cartoon series. It airs Friday, February 10th, 2023, on Disney Channel, but if you want to watch on Disney+, you’ll have to wait until February 15th.
