We’re getting so excited about Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, which is opening at Disney World next year, especially now that obvious construction is taking place!
We’ve seen lots of construction on the former Splash Mountain attraction recently, and it’s been so interesting to watch it all happen. It’s hard to believe that this ride is about to completely transform! We can expect Tiana’s Bayou Adventure to open sometime in late 2024 — it can’t come soon enough!
We took some photos of the construction taking place on the future Tiana’s Bayou Adventure while we were at Magic Kingdom the other day, and we think you’ll find them as cool as we do! Plus, we found this aerial shot on Twitter from bioreconstruct that really shows the extent of the changes taking place so far.

We got a great look at some of the blue scrims mentioned in that update! We also saw several platforms that the construction workers were standing on.
You can also see this barrier in place where the big drop is. It blocks the view of what could be happening just inside.
We also got to take a look at some of the materials being brought in for building and currently being used to support the construction walls. How neat is this?
We love the little glimpses of the work that’s currently going into the re-imagining of this fan-favorite ride. We can’t wait to take a tour through the bayou with Tiana and her friends! We’re constantly visiting Magic Kingdom to see if we can spot anything new happening at the site, so make sure to follow along for more construction updates as well as updates from Disney.

It is called Making Magic…. Now you see it, now you don’t. It just seems to happen, with not a worker in site.
