It’s been a pretty BIG week for EPCOT news!
EPCOT is currently undergoing a lengthy transformation. New rides like Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure and Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind have already debuted, but guests are still eagerly awaiting the arrival of spaces like CommuniCore Hall and Plaza as well as the upcoming attraction Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana. The park also has its seasonal changes in the form of festivals, and the next one on the slate is the Flower and Garden Festival!
EPCOT Food Updates
Before even saying goodbye to Festival of the Arts, EPCOT is already moving full-speed ahead with Flower and Garden! This week we spotted quite a few food booths (or food kitchens as they’re called during this festival), so here’s a sneak peek! First up, we have Primavera Kitchen.
Magnolia Terrace is also making a return.
La Isla Fresca has appeared!
And Hanami, home of frushi.
Bauernmarkt has arrived in the Germany Pavilion.
And Northern Bloom is all set up!
Trowel & Trellis, home of the festival’s plant-based food, is here.
The Honey Bee-stro is back with their sweet dishes.
You can try new DOLE Whip snacks at Pineapple Promenade this year!
Jardin de Fiestas is all set up too.
While unmarked, we’ve learned this booth is Florida Fresh.
Last but not least, Brunchcot is a totally new booth for this year!
Curious about what they’ll be offering? You can read all of the food kitchen menus right here!
EPCOT General Updates
This year’s EPCOT Flower and Garden Festival begins on March 1st and continues through July 5th, 2023. We spotted quite a few food kitchens cropping up throughout the park this week, and we also have this year’s menus in hand so we can start planning where exactly to dine first.
We also spotted some new construction as well as several new merch items in the park. Keep reading to learn about all of the changes at EPCOT this week!

Princess Half Marathon
The next runDisney event to be held at Disney World is the Princess Half Marathon! Runners have already started arriving at the parks, so keep an eye out for extra crowds if you’re heading to Disney World this weekend.
We saw them unloading some of the race markers and finish line scaffolding ahead of this weekend’s races.
EPCOT Construction Updates
Journey of Water: Inspired by Moana
This new attraction is coming along! We spotted an area off to the side of the trails with plenty of pipes which might be an irrigation system to provide the water for the attraction as well the plants.
Here’s another shot of the structures. The walkways are starting to come together, and we can also see them mapping out additional areas that may be filled with water or include more rock structures.
CommuniCore Hall & Plaza
We snuck a peak at this side of the new building (hiding out of frame to the right).
You can spot railings on the far left under the awning, and the low retaining wall might indicate a wide pathway to the left with a green area to the right.
