If you’re planning a trip to Disney World, there are a lot of things to stay on top of.
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
From the addition of new restaurants and rides to hotel construction and ride closures — things are constantly changing in the parks. Ride closures in particular can have a big impact on your trip — that’s why it’s important to pay attention to Disney’s refurbishment schedule. But sometimes even that doesn’t go to plan. Just this month the refurbishment of Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith was delayed, and today we have news of a ride that opened AHEAD of schedule!
We were in Disney’s Animal Kingdom today when we noticed that Kali River Rapids, which was originally scheduled to reopen on March 17th, was running ahead of schedule!

When we walked by, we noticed the wait time was only 5 minutes! It’s always a nice surprise when a ride opens early, but with all of the record-breaking Florida heat we’ve seen this February, this water ride is a particularly timely surprise.

This raft-based water ride gives you a pretty high chance of getting wet, so keep that in mind if you’re planning on hopping on this one today. If temperatures stay as hot as they’ve been lately, this might be a great way to cool off.
