My boys were 5 and 8 when we first rode Alien Encounters. It was our 1st trip to Disneyworld. We all loved Alien Encounters and we rode it every time we visited. We were sad to see it was gone on our trip in 2006. Stitch just wasn’t as much fun for us.

We first went to Epcot in 1985. We loved the Imagination ride and went on so many times. Back then the ride was way longer than now. AND what happened to the short film before the ride – “Making Memories”???? This was an amazing show by itself. What is with this Disney Corp? They ruin the Imagination ride, get rid of Dreamfinder and NOW have a huge Figment character at his meet & greet??? I have no intentions of bringing my 3 year old granddaughter to meet this Figment. What’s with Disney? Figment is supposed to be little and CUTE! They ruined the ride. Now they ruined the character.
Disney seems to have plenty of money to ruin things, but they can’t pay Turner Classics to have kept The Great Movie Ride? I know Mickey’s Runaway RR is a hit, but why couldn’t they ADD another ride? Why put it in that building?
It wasn’t mentioned in this video – but what happened to WEDWAY. I refuse to even mention the name it was change to. Again this Disney Corp tries to get rid of Walt wherever they can. For those who don’t know it, the ride was Walter Elias Disney way = WEDWAY.
Last but not least – I miss Timothy mouse in the middle of the Dumbo ride. It was fun watching Timothy as we rode Dumbo going around him.
Too many changes in the parks since our first visit in 1982. Very sad.
