Not all Disney World restaurants are created equally.
Trust us, we’ve tried them ALL. From delicious eats to immersive theming, no two restaurants are alike. And some restaurants require you to do some serious planning in advance to secure a coveted reservation — like at Be Our Guest Restaurant. This spot is consistently booked up, but we’re sharing how you can still dine at one of Magic Kingdom’s fanciest restaurants.
Whether you’re a Disney World pro or are planning your very first trip, we’re sharing everything you need to know to get a reservation at Be Our Guest Restaurant in Magic Kingdom. Let’s get started with the basics!
Disney Dining Basics
There are hundreds of different restaurants at Disney World, some of which are “quick-service” — think of a fast food type of restaurant where you place your order at a counter and either pick it up at a window or have it delivered to your table. These can be great options for quick meals or when you’re just looking for a snack.
You’ll also find plenty of sit-down or “table-service” restaurants. These restaurants typically require guests to make reservations in advance, or “Advance Dining Reservations (ADR).” In some cases, there might be a walk-up waitlist available for certain table-service restaurants, but that’s not always the case. Because of this, we recommend trying to secure table-service reservations as soon as you can!
Guests can make a dining reservation at most Disney World restaurants up to 60 days in advance of their meal. Disney World Resort hotel guests may make reservations up to 60 days in advance plus the length of their stay up to 10 days.
When you start planning your dining for your Disney World trip, you might notice that some restaurants seem more available in the My Disney Experience app. That’s because some restaurants are extremely popular and book up well in advance — for better or for worse, Be Our Guest is one of them.
Be Our Guest Basics
Be Our Guest Restaurant has enchanted guests ever since it opened, delivering French-inspired cuisine right inside the Beast’s castle from Beauty and the Beast.
Its completely immersive setting is unlike any other, and it’s the reason why it is almost always a challenge for guests to snag an Advance Dining Reservation for this spot. Not only that, but Be Our Guest was the first restaurant in Magic Kingdom to begin serving alcohol to guests.
When the restaurant first opened, guests had the option of a quick-service breakfast but table-service lunch, or dinner. As of this writing, Be Our Guest is currently serving a three-course, prix fixe lunch and dinner menu, with special brunch entrees available from 10AM to 12PM — you can read our brunch review here.
What makes this restaurant so special though, is the immersive theming. Be Our Guest is one of the only places in Disney World where guests can have a meet and greet with The Beast himself. There are also three distinct dining rooms, each with incredible touches that transport you right into Beauty and the Beast.
The Grand Ballroom features high, domed ceilings, chandeliers, and Gothic arches…
…the West Wing is where you’ll find Beast’s study and the enchanted rose…
…and the Rose Gallery features large figures of Belle and The Beast dancing.
You can make a request for a particular dining room and Cast Members will try to accommodate you, but there’s no guarantee you’ll be seated in your requested room.

Advance Dining Reservation Basics
So, how do you actually book an Advance Dining Reservation for Be Our Guest? You have a few options! First up, you can check for dining availability and book a reservation in the My Disney Experience app. You can enter your search criteria after clicking “Check Dining Availability,” and any available times that match your search should come up. You can also search for Be Our Guest Restaurant in the app directly.
You can book online via the Disney World Website. Just enter your search specifics after clicking “Check Availability” on the Be Our Guest page and book that way.
Or, call (407) WDW-DINE (939-3463), answer a few voice-activated questions, and you’ll be transferred to a dining agent who will book your meal for you. There are three different ways to book, but that doesn’t necessarily increase your chances of getting a reservation. But, we do have some tips that might help you out!
More Tips
Typically, Disney World dining reservation availability starts each day around 5:45AM ET. So, when that 60-day mark finally rolls around, you might want to consider setting your alarm extra early to try a snag a spot. We can’t stress enough how important it is to try and book your reservations as soon as you’re able to!
If you’re searching for available times in the My Disney Experience app or on the Disney World website, try searching by the hour instead of the meal — for example, click “12PM” instead of “lunch.” Sometimes searching directly on the Be Our Guest page on the Disney World website can help too.
In some cases, it may help to do a bit of tweaking to your party size. Instead of trying to get one ADR for eight people, try splitting it up and looking for two ADRs for four people around the same time. Disney can usually accommodate and combine the parties into one upon check-in.
And finally, try to not panic if you don’t get a reservation for your desired date and time on your very first attempt. We often see availability pop up for restaurants that were previously booked up due to other guest cancelations, so it’s always worth continuing to check in the weeks and even days leading up to your trip.
Now that you’ve had a crash course in Advance Dining Reservations for Be Our Guest, you’re ready to go out there and GET THAT RESERVATION!

AJ and the gang were spot on with their review of Be Our Guest restaurant. The food is nothing to truly write home about. But you are paying for the experience. It’s definitely a one and done trip to this restaurant.
